Gingerbread cookies. I only make them at Xmas. Yes, they have to be mine because most people think gingerbread = hard af, aka a ginger snap.3

These cookies my mother used to make called chocolate dream bars. I can't have them any more because gluten.1

Sugar/butter/almond cookies. But made with good ingredients... I'm really picky about my cookies... Really don't like baking them though.
Or a good Yule log. I made a chestnut one a couple years ago that was to die for, probably going for hazelnut praline this time though.

I'm not a big desert guy...at least not traditional pies and whatnot. I'll probably just have some homemade egg nog.0

Marzipan and fruitcake3

Nut horns (they might be called Kifles - I am not exactly sure). It is a family tradition with my in-laws. We get together to make them. We usually make them sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are a huge pain to make so we only make them once a year.1

I'm not a big sweets person so I make a beeline for the fancy cheese, meat and cracker trays- I can do some serious calorie damage with a cheese ball lol!
And then it's a tradition for my mother -in-law to make a huge batch of snack mix that we eat on Christmas when we open gifts-loads of assorted nuts, check mix, pretzels, fishy crackers, oil and a homemade seasoning concoction, baked on low for hours-sooooo good!1 -
Nanaimo bars are the actual best thing in the entire world
Also
Every single Danish Christmas cookie in existence
Oh and apple crisp with ice cream and chocolate peppermint cake
Edit to add Danish style homemade marzipan covered in chocolate5 -
My favourite are my mom's cookies.. she makes amazing shortbread and rugelachs. This year she's not making them, I am making some biscotti but meh, not the same.2

Apple pie, when I alone make it with Cortland apples, which have not been seen in Florida for 2 years. :-( No apple pie, but also no temptation!2

Christmas dessert: cream, powdered sugar, mini-marshmallows, pineapple chunks, and pecan chips whipped together, then chilled outside provided the weather is cold enough (being in Ohio it usually is cold that day). We also used to make a bunch of different cookies: oatmeal raisin, buttercotch, peanut butter, and chocolate chip.4

Cranberry Date Nut Bars that I make--addictive. Haven't made any this year as I know they will do me in.
Also I really love Peppermint Bark from Williams-Sonoma or Vermont Nut Free.2 -
