Goal for the month is 257 miles (strange number is to get me up to 4000 miles for 2016).
Did an odd indoor workout today, watched a game of rugby while doing a two hour low intensity ride and then did a 3 min max power test. Maybe a two hour "warmup" was a little excessive!

Felt really alien to be cycling outdoors again! Wind noise - constant gear changing - steering! What's that all about?

Unusually hands didn't suffer from the cold too much but feet were frozen. It's surprisingly difficult to walk properly when you can't feel your feet.....
120 miles so far this month, 46 outdoors and 74 indoors mostly on WattbikePro. Been playing with the Wattbike hub phone app, interesting and the fitness tests are challenging.
137 miles left to hit my goal for the year.
TT on WattbikePro - 23 miles.
Managed another outdoor ride in cold and foggy conditions - 36 miles.
Cardio warmup / warmdown cycling to the gym and back - 6 miles.
85 miles for the week, 205 miles for the month.
Just 52 miles to go to each my year goal now.
The TT was to hit a personal power output goal I've been chasing for over a year, it's taken that long to improve 2.5%. Oh the joys of being an old fart.

Just recently connected to this app via garmin connect after purchasing my own early Xmas present a garmin edge. My interests are both mtb and road cycling, I'm Looking forward to take part with your challenge, just to make sure I'm clear, is the 200 mile a weekly or monthly total and can I include mileage done on turbo trainer.1

My goals vary from events to monthly distance to indoor fitness challenges.
I include my indoor winter training virtual miles as I would get too depressed at how infrequently I get outdoors otherwise.1 -

DRATS! I think I came in a little late to this one. Are there going to be plans to continue this in January? I'm going to be starting back at the gym then (definitely not a cycling outdoor in the winter person), and would like to participate. Does anyone use the MapMyRide app to track their history?

I recently got back into cycling and love it, if I am stuck indoors out comes the stationary, if I have a spare hour the mountain bike comes out of the shed and I am off ! Roads, cross country anywhere I can manage I goto on it. Got to say I love the bike and My knees prefer it to running.0

Hi I use the MapMyRide app all the time, it really helps keeping an eye on where I am going and also with planning routes so I can slip in some elevation for that mid ride challenge.0 -

That's it for me this year - I'm at my parents place for the holidays, so no more commutes - and my bike stayed home anyway. Looking at the Strava summary for this year, I wish I had done three more rides and 54m more elevation - I'm so close to nice round numbers! Maybe next year...

Unusually hands didn't suffer from the cold too much but feet were frozen. It's surprisingly difficult to walk properly when you can't feel your feet.....
120 miles so far this month, 46 outdoors and 74 indoors mostly on WattbikePro. Been playing with the Wattbike hub phone app, interesting and the fitness tests are challenging.
137 miles left to hit my goal for the year.
TT on WattbikePro - 23 miles.
Managed another outdoor ride in cold and foggy conditions - 36 miles.
Cardio warmup / warmdown cycling to the gym and back - 6 miles.
85 miles for the week, 205 miles for the month.
Just 52 miles to go to each my year goal now.
The TT was to hit a personal power output goal I've been chasing for over a year, it's taken that long to improve 2.5%. Oh the joys of being an old fart.
Three more indoor training sessions on the WattbikePro saw me hit 276 miles for the month but more importantly ticked off my goal for the year:
