Got mine July 2010. Best decision ever.

Why did you get it?
Because I had lost 40 pounds and my boobs looked like "old woman boobs". Loose skin, saggy, etc. I wanted them to be more full on top. My bras would have gapping areas on the top part where my boobs didn't fill them out.

How much did it cost? Did you finance it or pay out of pocket?
I paid $4000 in Seattle. I paid cash for 1/2 and financed the other 1/2 with CareCredit. 18months, no interest.

Did you get silicone or saline? round or teardrop? smooth or textured?
425cc round smooth saline. moderate profile

Are yours under the muscle or above?
Under the muscle. More natural looking and less chance of visible rippling effect.

What size were you before and what size are you now?
32C before surgery. 32DD-34DD after surgery, depending on the bra.

Do you wish you had gone bigger?
Sometimes I wish I had gone 450cc, but I'm happy with what I have. My husband says they look very natural. 25cc is only the amount that would fill a shot glass so it's not that much of a difference anyway. I think a lot of people wish they'd gone bigger afterwards. I think that is mainly because after surgery you're so swollen and then when the swelling goes down and they're not as big you're kind of like, "man..." lol

Where was your incision? Is your scar visible?
My incision is under the breast in the crease. It's about 1.5" long.

How painful was it? Did you have a pain pump?
The pain wasn't unbearable. I took the prescribed percacet for a couple days and by the 3rd day I wasn't taking any pain meds. I was doing the stretches daily that the doctor recommended. That helped tremendously with the tightness. I don't even know what a pain pump is. haha

What kind of comments have you gotten?
I haven't had any negative comments at all. Some people didn't even realize I had implants because of how natural they look. They are big and full, but natural.

How long did it take you to recover?
I walked a lot and did light cardio on the elliptical and treadmill a few days to a week after surgery and I think that helped me heal quickly. They said if you get up walking around it will help and it did. I was sleeping on my stomach a couple weeks after surgery.
It felt weird doing chest exercises a few months after surgery, but you get used to it. I'm totally comfortable now doing push ups and bench press. Although, when my chest muscles flex it does look a little funny. Haha!

I paid extra for a 10 year warranty as well. If they deflate or anything I get new ones at a very discounted price.

Is other surgery needed 5, 10, 15, 20 years down the line? Do they naturally start sagging again?

you can go about 10-15 years before another surgery so long as nothing has happened and you are stil happy with the look of them. Over time hey can "settle" more than you might like, but they will not sag like natural breasts. The best way to keep them up is to wear a bra however much you can even if its just a sports bra!

I disagree with the statement of them not sagging like natural breasts. They definitely will if you don't support them properly. They are heavy just like natural breasts and will pull on your skin. Breast implants are not an internal bra that will help them stay lifted. You should support them as much as you would natural breasts to avoid sagging.

Do you wish you had gone bigger? No, they are perfect. I'm very athletic and I can "go both ways" with the size.

How painful was it? Did you have a pain pump? It was 5 out of 10 for pain, but most of that pain subsided after 3 days. I took Percocettes for a week
What kind of comments have you gotten? They are the right size and perfect for me!
How long did it take you to recover? 2 weeks total, but the first 3-5 were the worst. After that I was able to hold my (then 16-month old) with no issues.

under the muscle dont tend to sag. The muscle holds them in place.
Over the muscle have more of a risk of sagging, but no more than natural breasts. On the plus side, overs look more natural if you already have breast tissue to cover the implant, and they are generally softer and move more like a natural breast.
Unders give a much more natural look if you have no existing breast tissue, like i did, but you run the risk of them not feeling as soft, because you feel muscle under the skin rather than fat. They feel firmer. A lot of people like that firmness though

Do you wish you had gone bigger? I am very happy with my size. They would look fake had I gone bigger. Most women get boob greed, but it often goes away.

How painful was it? Did you have a pain pump? I was in a huge amount of pain for about 6 hours after surgery. Xanx helped more than the pain meds because it relaxes the muscles, and it really makes you loopy.
What kind of comments have you gotten? I have gotten no comments, and I think it's because most people don't want to bring it up because it's such a personal thing. I love them and that's what matters. Hubby likes 'em too, though.
How long did it take you to recover? I was feeling way better within a week, though not back to 100% for about 3 weeks.

Why did you get it? I'm done having kids. I was a perky B and now a saggy B with 3 pregnancies and 26 months combined breastfeeding. By my third trimester with my last baby I was a full D & loved it. I'm sick of putting the "wonder" in my WonderBra.

Did you get silicone or saline? Silicone. I have 19.8% body fat and not enough tissue to cover the tell-tale saline ripples. The sample was doughier and more real feeling, they're lighter than saline so I can avoid sagging or needing a breast lift and I squeezed the HELL out of it and it responds like a "stress head"... I got my first girls 7 years ago. I got saline the first time. I was a 34B and went to a 34 full C. I got it under the muscle. The incision was under part of the breast so not noticable at all. The scar healed awesome. I nursed my second child two years later without any problems. The saline didn't feel natural at all. It could definately feel that there were implants, They feel them so full that they feel kinda hard. About a year ago the left side hurt all the time because because I was alway holding my daughter on that side and if she moved a certain way it hurt so I decided to go get silicone. I decided to go up a size to a full D. I love them. They are softer and feel natural. Under the muscle helps them feel more natural. I believe silicone is the only way to go. I don't think there is anything wrong with doing anything that makes you feel better about yourself. I paid out of pocket both times. $5500 the first time and $6500 the second. They charged extra to remove the first implants.

i have silicone, but i dont think they feel particularly natural. Theyre not hard by any stretch of the imagination, but theyre quite firm. Like when your milk comes in. My friend with silicone unders felt similar too. I think its probably because i had no real breast tissue at all, so you are literally just feeling muscle, so theyre firm in the same way that your calf is firm when you feel it if you see what i mean. soft, but not flabby or squishy like a natural breast. My partner is delighted by this fact though. He says he always prefered the feel of smaller breasts because they are firmer, but this way hes got the best of both worlds

Its a pay off really. I never expected perfection, or for them to be totally foolproof and natural seeming in every way, but considering what i started out with, im absolutely delighted, and would do the same thing again if i had to. I have no regrets

I want to know this info as well... I still have at least a year or two before I can have mine done (I would like to have at least one more baby first ) But I have already made up my mind after having my daughter that I am getting my chest FIXED!!! Lol.
