That yearly check-up
That was today. And all is very well, although doc thinks I should consider dropping some weight because of my age and trying to proactively reduce the amount of stress on my joints. And I don't disagree. I guess I just needed the push from someone else.
Lol, guess I know what my New Years Resolution is now.
I figure 30lbs should be a good goal.

Not for 5'7". 207-30 =277. I'm 283.8 this morning, 5'10", and 277 is 5 weeks away for me and just a milepost on my journey. And I do still have Dunlap's Disease.0 -

I would like to put a plug in for getting an annual Physical. When you are young you may believe you are invincible. A simple blood and urine test can spot problems long before they become serious. I learned that lesson the hard way and am lucky to be alive to tell the story.1

annual check-up?
I only visit a doctor if I've injured myself.
Even then, I just rub some dirt on it until the bleeding stops.0 -

And that's when I got hired to help him with exercise and correct form.
That prompted me to get a yearly checkup as well. Knock on wood, I haven't had any issues yet, but at least I think I can get a jump start on anything that I may encounter in the future. I'd rather know if something was wrong through it rather than find out like my client did.
