Up for a variety of different planks each day for this January 2016. Have included the link for further instructions.
If you fancy a challenge in a way of planks let's get onto it. Will be brilliant to check in each day and share experiences of trying out the varying types of planks. No competition just simply having fun with trying it out and strengthening along the way.

Feel the same but looking forward to giving it a good go, and trying.
I've heard the saying The expert in anything was once a beginner.

Completed day 1. Actually did a 2 minute forearm plank and 1 45 second. I have to do a 2 minute plank for my next TKD belt so this is why I took this challenge. Only made it to a minute last time so very excited!2

Hope I can still join, I just saw this challenge today and decided to try day 1 and 2. Had some problems with the side plank and had to modify a bit for the 3rd set (placed feet in front of each other instead of stacked on top of each other, and was able to get it done.3

Done and done! Started out easy day one but after day 2 looks like this month is gonna be a killer.1

Day 3 done plus 2 minute forearm plank. Don't know about my core, but my shoulders are complaining!1
-
Jan 1: 3x:45 Elbow
Jan 2: 3x:45/ea Side
Jan 3: 3x:45 Straight Arm plank2 -
Keeping with the program. Shoulders not impressed, however I am sure they will get used to it and become stronger for it3

Here is a tip, get a mat to place on the floor. I am thinking of getting back to my plank workout. The routine I was using is a 30 second plank followed by 30 second rest. This would be a side, front, side and then leg raises. I would repeat for 16 minutes. I settled on this because every workout app I could find kept increasing the time or duration and that would mess up my morning schedule.2
