The first thing I "ate" was a Coke Zero. The first food item was an apple cinnamon Nutri-Grain bar. First meal was half a Michelina's lasagna sprinkled with Asiago cheese, garlic bread, a sliced apple, and a chocolate protein bar.1

2 eggs with hot sauce... with coffee .. something about coffee and hot sauce. The burn really wakes you up in the morning.2

A small bit of each of the following VERY traditional New Years Day dishes: pork butt & cabbage (from my time in Germantown, Columbus, Ohio), tamales & green chile sauce (from my TexMex days), 12 grapes (from travels to South America), and blackeyed peas from my old Kentucky home.0

In terms of just food? Honestly the first thing I had was some Honey Barbecue Chips (the like... One flavor I actually like). In terms of an actual meal however I had banana nut crunch cereal with almond milk and a banana!1
