30 minutes on the bike and I shaved 11 seconds off My time for 10 miles ! Managed to get it down to 29.48 so I am really chuffed.
if I can do this so can all of you, join Me and everyone else here and lets get fitter, healthier and happier.4 -

I had all but given up on my desire to regain the fitness mojo I lost after I had my last munchkin. I was going to accept that I would be fluffy for the rest of my days. 2 months ago, an acquaintance asked me out of the blue if I wanted to do a Rugged Maniac 5k with her in April of this year. At first, I thought she'd contacted the wrong person! I was 80 lbs overweight (now just under 70; woohoo!).
It was the kick in the pants I needed. Even though I still have a long road to get back into the shape I was in 8 years ago, my dormant passion for fitness has been reawakened. I'd forgotten how much I love this stuff!
Of course, I'm sure I'm a bit of a spectacle in the gym, being the chubby chick in the free weight area doing hardcore circuit training. But it's okay. The body will catch up to the mind eventually. I'm just so grateful to have this passion back!6 -
