If your body doesn't use all those calories you're eating, either by feeding your muscles or giving you energy, it will store it as fat (for later use, starvation mode). Starvation mode isnt a thing. Also, you really dont need that much protein; generally its .8 to 1.2g per lb of lbm and even that might be excessive since that is the requirement during a cut.5 -
