Wore these dress pants to my nursing school graduation May 2013
65 lbs, size 18 to 1243 -
Bought a heavy and long tv cabinet online today, seller and hubby got it into our truck but hubby was a bit apprehensive about me carrying into the house...Turns out it was a piece of cake and took little effort.. forgot that I lift weights regularly duh lol. Hubby was a bit taken aback and a bit puffed moving it unlike me26

My size 8 jeans are loose enough to comfortably wear long underwear beneath, and my size large yoga pants fit comfortably over. So much for needing snow pants this winter! Although I might want to get smaller yoga pants at this point...
I find it hard to believe I started 2 years ago wearing size 22!

I worked out consistently 5 days in a row!35

I could get rid of the bra extender I use, AND I need a new belt.19

Been on this ride now for almost 7 months, lost 5 sizes, donated roughly 10 bags of my fat clothes to the veterans (used to keep them "just in case " in past attempts), have muscles from strength training, am no longer embarrassed to have my picture taken and can run almost 10k albeit slowly. Size 4 (yeah vanity sizing for sure so really an 8 but vanity sizing works for me). Belly still out and jiggly but not bad as I am almost 62 so life is good36

Sorry if this is a scale victory but I had 0 gain pre-shark week. I can't remember that ever happening before!15

Today, I was tired. Very tired. My legs ached from strength training. I hadn't slept well. I'd done housework. I'd been shopping. I'd already walked 4 miles early this morning to take my daughter to work. It was cold and miserable outside. Mist everywhere. It was not encouraging weather - I was so tempted just to stay in the warm and have lovely cuddles with my four year old whilst watching Frozen or Tangled or another of her favourites.
But I didn't. I got my bike out and went on a 13-mile cycle ride. It would have been further but I needed to get back to collect my daughter from work.
I am so glad that I went. It eased my legs considerably and I love cycling. I felt full of energy when I got back. Well worth fighting the weather for35 -
I got off track for a week or two. I consider it a victory that I am back on track with my goals.24

I recognized I was hungry and instead of ignoring it, chugging detox tea, or exercising, I ate dinner.33

This morning it started snowing and immediately I thought that I was going to need boots. Now mind you, I have three pairs of boots that I couldn't fit a month ago. I tried getting a pair on and I couldn't get my foot through the opening. They are UGGS. I was just thinking about them again and decided to try them on. They fit! I got my entire foot in this boot. Thank GOD. I really need them.23

It's freezing here and the roads are icy so I stayed in instead of going out for a bit of exercise like I planned.
I am legitimately sad about this and plan to do a YouTube video instead.
Old me hated any form of exercise. New me is like what? My plan to exercise is derailed? Must find other means.20 -
This morning I ran my first half marathon. I wasn't focused on time, but just wanted to enjoy my run and finish strong.
I realized that I came 156th out of 750+ participants66 -

1. I bought goal pants 6 months ago to wear on vacation over Christmas. When I got them I couldn't even attempt to put them on. Now they are too big.
2. I spent 2 weeks with family over Christmas and didn't go over my calorie goal once.
3. I tried dead lifting today after about a 20 year break. My last set I hit 605 pounds x 4.24 -
I have these really cute, warm pajama pants I bought on the onset of winter. They were a little tight, but gave me a nice shape I thought.
So I'm walking pass the mirror this morning and I'm like, "I'm losing weight why do these pants look so bad?!" And then I realize it's because they are too big now. They look funny on because they aren't touching me anywhere and no longer will stay up on my waist.
I love that I started off with them being tight and now they're too big.
Although, I'm cheap people I don't care if they do look a total mess on me now I'm going to wear them until the end of winter because who don't have time for buying new pajama pants only for them to eventually become too big by next winter is me.19 -
At church today I had 3 people at totally different times ask me if I colored my hair because I looked so much younger! I laughed and didn't say anything except thank you. No, haven't colored my hair, just lost 53 pounds! These were my first compliments on how I looked (didn't hurt that I had on a new outfit a few sizes smaller!)31

Went to a baby shower, didn't eat cake.33

An acquaintance I ran into asked my relative later if I was losing weight14

This may be a bit graphic, but I can now fully wash my entire back in the shower. Bye bye loofa on a stick!30

You took 20 years off and then pulled 605 x 4??3 -
Yesterday I did my first brick workout in preparation for the sprint triathlon I'll be doing in May. Then I got a pedicure and the people at the nail salon I've been going to for 2 years told me they didn't recognize me because I'd lost so much weight.19

Yesterday I bought a bra from Target.
No, you don't get it. I had to buy all my bras either from the fat lady store or online because regular stores just didn't carry my size. Yesterday I bought a bra from FREAKING TARGET. You don't know how happy this makes me.51 -

I totally get it! (I'm down to a 36DDD from a 44G.) Congratulations!

Back to doing squats in the bus stop in the morning! Yay. Oh, and planks at work in 45 sec increments with my office door closed, bien sur.
It is incredible how quickly - if you stop doing these, that is - that your body objects!19 -

I wish I had an office to do this! I work in retail... people would panic if I started planking in the aisle...21 -
