I have no access to a pool.. But I do run!1

I'd say jogging cause I'm not really a swimmer2

Swimming definitely. Tried jogging, hated it. Swimming is the best all round exercise you can get.3

I don't have a pool outside my door but I do have a street, so running. My shoulders bother me while swimming last time I tried it. If they didn't my sister (60) would force me to train for a full Ironman. She is training for her third one.1

I really enjoy swimming and I think if I could find a swimming group or something that could push me then it would be a great work out, but I have a hard time pushing myself in the pool. I can do laps all day and feel like I'm having a leisurely swim. I love running though and can and do push myself. I'm more comfortable running, don't necessarily have to wash my hair afterwards (have to if I swim) and it's quicker to get ready and finish without dealing with all the things related to swimming (swimsuit/cap/goggles/raccoon eyes/having to stop by the hot tub afterwards, lol).1

I prefer swimming but a jog on the beach isn't bad either !

Swimming because the only thing I 'll run to is a peanut butter banana shake at the finish line.3

It's a real issue when I have to go to work right after my workouts, lol.1 -
Swimming, hands down. I hate running for anything. I'll rarely even run for a bus! I'd likely be the first to be eaten in the zombie apocalypse.

Oh yeah, the no music thing with swimming is a turn off for me too. Actually, now that I think of it, that may be the issue with me not being able to push myself while swimming laps. When I run I have a playlist that is designed to pump me up (and it really does) but I don't get that in the pool. I won't say that the quiet by itself isn't nice though, it's relaxing but not inducive to an energetic work out.3 -
Water jogging! Haha! Nah, I'll do either. I'd rather be outside though.2
-
Running - though, I do enjoy swimming sometimes!2
-
I only swim to prevent drowning.
Running.... I've run enough already, I'm retired from the sport.4 -
I find both relaxing. to jog. to swim.
The only consideration@swimming for me would be open ocean swimming. Can take the joy out of it for me, due to excessive planning ... currents, temperature, sea creatures seasonal changes etc.2 -

Started running along the beach@Coronado 8 months after surgery on my ankle. Was really surprised ... Zero friction ... Zero pain.2 -
Definitely swimming! I began my weight loss journey four years ago at age 65 and 376# and found out my knees & ankles could take floor aerobics so I switched to water aerobics. After losing 100+ I added swimming 1/4 mile laps to my water aerobics.
Now swimming 1/2 in laps.2 -
Jogging, but I don't jog so TAEKWONDO IT IS!!!2
