I'm new at interacting in "community". I have used MFP before but I hate watching my progress line go in the other direction so I end up putting it aside and soak in my disappointments.
I like the idea of the "Just for today" thinking. Thank you CricketKatie for sharing!

Just for today.....i will think of the children on our planet who will die of starvation befor the sun comes up.
I will also think of all those people out there who are trying to reach their "goal weight" by cutting down on calories

I'll keep the 390 calories intact that i'll have left over. I will also worry less about what I don't have, and focus on what I do. I will also not be so hard on myself!2 -

This is the third time I have downloaded myfitnesspal onto my phone. The first two times I used it a little while, then ignored it, then deleted it.

Just for Today: I will listen to my body and not push too hard. I have a tendency towards pushing and an all or nothing attitude, if I can't exercise hard then I might as well sit down and eat popcorn (I love popcorn). My body is not as strong as it was pre-cancer. Today I will accept that and not give up because I can't do what I used to do.0

JUST FOR TODAY: I will not rely on a glass of wine to change my mood. I will exercise instead, cuz that's the biggest stress buster ever but I really, really, really want to drink my wine and luckily there's no more at home and my favorite wine is sold 1/2 hour drive from my house and I'm too lazy to go there and get some anyway.
