Hi All,
I hope you are all having success with your targets!!
Starting weight: 216 lbs
Goal weight: 164 lbs by the end of this challenge, 140 lbs overall

This week's successes: I took a selfie that I am comfortable sharing with others. I have been self-conscious about the weight in my face but it has thinned somewhat.
This week's challenges: Being lazy because of the weather and not getting my steps in.
Have an awesome week everyone!!11 -
Challenge starting weight: 238 12/26/2016

Starting weight: 210
Goal weight 150
Current weight:205

This week's successes: No loss this week, but no gain either. Went over my daily a couple of times, but glad that I figured out an after school snack for when I get home from class at 10:30pm - an apple with peanut butter.
This week's challenges: Today is my actual birthday; no doubt the slice of cake I just consumed was equivalent to one solid daily goal (and them some). Rest of the week needs to be disciplined and exercise a bit more. I was studying all day on Sunday, and I missed my grocery shopping/food prep window. Raining cats and dogs tonight and have more studying to do (about to start now), so cannot go tonight. Next opportunity on Thursday.
This week's goals: Staying at/under MFP daily goal and exercising 4-5x.10 -
GA Everyone, hoping you all accomplish your goals for the week!
I was able to accomplish part of my goal for last week, which was to maintain eating healthy! I'll have to focus on the second half more and increase my walking on lunch!
I am pleased that the scale is going in the right direction....down! I lose 3 more lbs this week!
Starting weight: 202

PoisonDartFrog wrote: »The road to Success will have ups and downs – right? This up was somewhat self-imposed. I went to my brother’s wedding this weekend and like most weddings, there was food and alcohol. Between wedding fare and driving 6 hours each way (and eating fast food and candy on the road each way), I am up 0.4 lbs. this week (Weigh in on Monday this week, as I did not have a scale with me yesterday). If I compare myself to last Monday, I am up 1.2 lbs. I seem to lose my weight on Sundays.
Tracking my 1 lb. a week goal for the year, I am +0.4 lbs from that goal (I should weight 192.0 this week). It is not far off of where I should be and still attainable to get back on track.
Today, I am back to eating healthy and exercising. Started the day with my oatmeal and a refreshed spirit.
I hope everyone has a great week!
Jenn

This week's successes: I had a great first day yesterday! Stuck to my calories, logged everything, I even resisted my roommate continually trying to get me to late night snack with her. Proud of myself!
This week's challenges: Well, for starters, one of my team members brought in donuts this morning to share with the rest of the team, so lucky me gets to have donuts sitting at my desk all day so people can come grab them… I totally plan to enjoy ONE, but wish me luck resisting temptation all day! I’m excited to hopefully see my first scale victory next week!11 -
Starting weight: 270
Goal weight: 218
Current weight: 255
Total weight lost: 15
This week's successes: I was invited out to eat twice at buffet style restaurants. I only had one plate of food. No seconds or thirds, plus dessert plates like I used to do. I was very mindful of what I put on my plate, More veggies, fewer fats.
This week's challenges: I am going through a bad time in my relationship, I don't know if we are going to make it, and this is breaking my heart. It is hard to keep getting up and walking when all I want to do is crawl under the covers and hide from the world.16 -
Starting weight:182.6
Goal weight:140
Last Tuesday's weight:179.8
Current weight: 176
Total weight lost: 6.6
This week's successes: I ran a total of 12.58 miles last week. I'm slow but I'm keeping it one foot on the ground at a time. I was able to add Pilates after my run. This has been brutal
This week's challenges: I want to run 13 miles. I have to mentally break the two mile doubt and get past it so I can get three miles in consistently. Night time snacking. I'm full after dinner but I'll wake up hungry. I may try putting a half cup of grapes on my nightstand so I can have something and fall back asleep.16 -

I've been through a divorce twice (same man - long story); and discovered I was an emotional eater. I now realize it doesn't matter the emotion...happy, sad, boredom...I use food to pick me up. I'm starting to realize in a life full of challenges the only thing we can control is what we do for ourselves. This is a time for YOU! Best of luck.

I'm so sorry to hear about your relationship trouble, and I am in awe that you are still in it, girl! What an incredible feat, especially when you feel like you are falling apart. Just think of it this way, if you can get through this while still taking good care of yourself, then you can do it through anything! You got this!!8 -

ReGina, why would you want to stop? You're doing freaking awesome, you've lost weight and I honestly think you should dig deeper and continue, you know this is what YOU want and it's not about anyone else.
Being mindful of that why do you think your relationship is failing, does your partner not want you to change? Do you find the exercising/dieting makes you less tolerant, a little moody? You need to find out what the issues are, make a hot drink you both love, sit down with your partner and try to keep calm while you talk it through, find out what yours and your partners issues are and work out between you what you both can do to make things better.
Sometimes it's because you're stuck in the same routine, sometime it's hidden issues that you don't want to burden your partner with, sometimes it's because they see you making a success of yourself and think you're going to leave once you're in a better position.
Whatever it is, you've both got to sit down and talk about it, don't push it, you've both got to be ready to talk and it's like exercising it can take sometime to come to terms with issues and resolve them, but it's much better if you do so together!
If, you really don't think it's worth the stress, you need to be honest, once you've tried over a week or 10 days to try and get talking about your issues and it's not working, you both need a break, but keep yourself busy with the diet/exercise, don't lose focus on what you're hoping to achieve or you'll use this as an excuse for your relationship failure. Don't let that ever happen, when you're trying so hard to improve your fitness, stay positive and if they don't want to talk about it, then in a few weeks you can show them what they're missing!
Your health should come first! Keep something positive in your life and like anything given time everything will work out and mostly it's for the better!

Yes! This may be one of the biggest challenges Air-popped with spray on butter is ok when you need a fix, but there is nothing better than stove popped popcorn with freshly melted butter and a sprinkling of salt. Yum!3 -
