Does any miles count? I go to the gym and I'm just starting to jog ( 1 full minute so far) but I also do elliptical and bike. Plus in June I'll be joining again the Great Canadian Cycle challenge to raise money for kids Cancer and I'd like to use those miles too.

    Thanks for posting this challenge.

122.50 for Jan. Which means, what, 877.50 to go?

    January is already over... wow!

Edit: My ticker isn't showing my updated total.
It should read 185 miles total for January.
Anyone else got this problem? It shows the updated amount correctly on the ticker page but still shows the old amount here.

My goal for each month is 85 miles. Was a bit behind for January (but not bad after dealing with the flu, and various other real life challenges). Time to buckle down and get it done in February.

    Total Miles: 74.52 miles

BTW @MontyMuttland - the tickers are sometimes delayed in updating to the new/updated numbers. They eventually get there...

This sounds great! I need to get back into running since I haven't done anything after my first half marathon last year. I started with the Tinkerbell half. I would like to try the Rock n' Roll Half next.

How do you get a ticker?

If you go to tickerfactory.com you can create one there. Once you have created your ticker you will need to copy the information in the BBCode box and paste into a reply box in this thread. You can update your miles through their website as well, but it takes a while for the mileage update to show on MFP's ticker.

Of course any miles would count. A mile is a mile. Go for it
