Is anyone here with a weight loss goal of 100lbs+?

I'm not a newbie here, I am returning though. I had to flush out my friendslist of people who weren't on for months at a time.
I have 100lbs to lose.
I already lost 100lbs (yay me) but during my halfway point I kinda gave up; stress got the better of me., but then a month ago I decided that I need to change and kick the pounds away.
I'm tired of feeling so self conscious about myself.
Is anyone else on a goal to lose that much? Could really use some motivation buddies!

I have that much to lose. I have lost 75# a number of times over the years. This time I am focusing on 1# at a time and keeping it off. I started mfp 10/03/16. I have lost 25#. It has been an uphill battle. I use the app on good and bad days. If I go over it tells me how much I would gain. That helps me focus. I keep lots of fruit, veg's, cheese sticks, 2 or 1/2 percent fat yogurt, eggs, etc. On hand. It is easier to resist high fat and sugar foods if I am not hungry. If I really want something I eat it but I log it. I weigh everyday. I can gain 5# in a day. If I don't weigh I find myself slacking. This is what is working for me so far. I am over 50 with normal aches and pains. I walk at least 5500 steps a day. I average 8000 steps. I have chronic pain that I am told would go away if only I lost weight. I am dealing with the here and now, one meal, one day at a time. Slipping up will happen and that is OK. It is what happens next that matters. I hope this helps. This is my experience so far.4

Hi. I am starting over here too. I have lost a lot of weight a couple of times and I know very well that at 100 lbs lighter my quality of life is so so much better. I'm over 50 and have done a lot of work on myself, therapy wise, over my lifetime but I still don't fully understand why I sabotage myself. When I'm in a bad place I binge eat which starts this terrible cycle and I get stuck in the bad place and I can gain a lot of weight pretty quickly. I am feeling strong today and I'm trying to focus on today, each day, and not on the big picture (pun intended). I know how to lose weight, I just don't always know how to allow myself to be successful. Thanks for listening.....it helps not to feel alone in the struggle.5

Yes, I'm on a journey to lose 100 lbs (17 down so far!). 13 more pounds to my pre-pregnancy weight, and then I can't blame the baby anymore.. the rest of it was due to my own poor habits, which I'm working hard to change. I would love to make new friends!2

Yes!!! I started needing to lose 120lbs, I'm down 19.5 lbs as of today. I've been on the MFP journey since March 2015. My weight has yo-yo'ed alot!! I also had an "enough is enough" moment and now I am extremely motivated to FINALLY get rid of this extra weight that is holding me back!! We CAN do this!!2

I have 114 to lose. I got close but gained it back. I need all the motivation and support I can get.0

You can add me, lost 100 a few years back, currently at 65lbs lost total. I think key for me is looking forward and not remembering all the time that I was once so close to goal. Total I want to lose is at least 120 but as much as 150.1

I tried to send you a friend request but MFP won't let me. I like this thread. I like the idea of supporting and being supported by folks with similar goals.0 -
I am working(it is work) on losing 1/2# a week. Previously I tried to lose 2+3# a week. It worked for a while. Then I would be so hungry and would gain back all the weight I had lost and more. I know five times that didn't work. I am a slow learner. I am losing slower but thrilled with each lost pound. I feel better knowing I am not alone.

Anyone can add me. I have around that much to lose. I have been on here since october. Lost 10 kilos (22 pounds) so far but I am up and down all the time and most of that was at the start and the last couple of weeks. My mpf graph looks like a heart rate chart lol.0

Good morning. I lost 145 lbs back in 2010 by participating in the Weight Watchers online community and attending WW meetings. I learned a lot over these last 7 years. I learned how to eat healthy and how to run and do weights. I also learned that it's really hard to keep it up, when you've been obese your entire life. I learned that I go to food when I'm stressed and I need to learn how to deal with life as a skinny person and not go back. I was injured 3 times during 2016 and I believe that I became injured because I backed off weight training. My injuries forced me to stop running, which caused me stress and led to eating. Work stress didn't help. I'm now 50 lbs heavier than I wish to be. I am trying a different strategy now and hope that a less stressful journey (this time) will lead me to longer term success once I get back to my desired weight.
Part of my success before was blogging and getting involved with the community. I'm trying to get back into this to help keep me focused, document my journey and help others where I can.
Let's help each other !1 -
My goal weight is 180, I started at 317 in December, and I'm at 300 now. Still have quite a ways to go.3

Ive been trying to do this weight loss thing for a long time, but its hard when all of your friends are skinny and eat whatever they want. I'm 250 now and want to lose 100lbs but this is the hardest thing i have ever done2
-
Thanks for starting this thread, I need to lose 147 pounds. I've lost large amounts of weight in the past, but never had this much to lose. I guess I'm what you call a yo-yo dieter. I've struggled with my weight my whole life, and have been on both ends of the weight spectrum. At one time I was even underweight by 20 pounds for my body frame. This time I'm not losing weight just to get skinny, but to regain my health.3

Yesss. In order to get to my ideal body weight (161), I need to lose 120 pounds. Really, my personal goal is to get to 200, but I figure if I get to 200 there's no reason to stop there.
I just began yesterday, so I have a long way and a lot of work ahead of me. I welcome new friends and my diary is open!3 -
Absolutely. Once I hit my 1st goal, I'll start on my 2nd goal: 185 lbs.

Yes!! I need to lose 117 lbs more lbs. I'm only 22 lbs into my journey. I will take all of the support (and give as much support as possible) I can get. It's daunting to have so much work ahead of me, but seeing other going through similar journeys is so helpful.4

Yay! This is the post I've been looking for! My starting weight was 252, 117 lbs away from my goal weight of 135. Im at about 209 now. I used MFP about 5 years ago to get down to 135, but as life got away from me so did my weight. I ended up about 60 lbs heavier than when I had started. This time around I know I can succeed in maintaining my goal weight once I get there. Feel free to add me, y'all.3

So how is everyone doing? Tracking? Getting your water? Moving a little more each day? Keeping a positive mindset??0
