I started at a similar weight last year and dropped to 116, but quit running and gained it all back in 6 months. Starting over for 2017!2 -
Here it is Wednesday again (and Feb. 1st too!) Weigh in day for me on this strand (started this way back in December?)
Anyway -- everyone who is new -- just keep the focus and the motivation to log that food. I started in August and here it is Feb. and I've lost around 25 lbs. That's 1 lb. /week, approximately. Amazing how good this feels.

Hi! I'm 5 foot and a half inch! I'd love to join this group - need as much motivation as possible as am around 13 and a half stone, need to lose about 4 stone to stop me from looking like a weeble! Need as much motivation and support as possible, cos I've set myself a 12 week target to lose at least a stone!2

I would like to join! I'm 5'2, started here in 2013 in the 180's. In 2013 the doctor told me I was obese, and because of that, had a lower life expectancy. That scared me enough to start me in the right direction. I'm 41, Mom of 3. Twin mom. My twins have autism. I can't die, my sons will most likely never be independent so I need to live as long as possible. I'm a stress eater and I'm sick of blaming my stressful life for my eating habits.
Got down to the 130's last year and promptly packed 10 back on. Working towards having my second digit be a 2 by summer!

I actually hit 119 a week ago, went up to 121, and just got back down to the 119s today.
I'm starting to up my calories a little. I set them higher than what they were to lose .5 lb a week, and I'm even going over that number by a few most days. My week's average was about 100 calories a day below maintenance, but I worry about margin of error.
I know this is, in a lot of ways, just the beginning!0 -
I've turned a huge corner psychologically on weight loss. The last month has been a total struggle for every pound lost, but I've stuck with it. Today I put on a dress I haven't worn in 5 years and it looks AMAZING, with room to spare! This month may not have meant huge changes on the scale, but I lost a full inch in my waist, half an inch everywhere else, and gained a ton of muscle. Shooting to be 20 pounds down two weeks from now when I'm going on vacation, so hard work in store for the next two weeks. Keep going everyone!

I've lost 15.6 pounds since Dec 4th! Kinda hard to believe! Pair of nice dress pants fit again! Department store out of 8s so I continue pulling up my baggy pants! Today should be the last day of the illness I've had for two weeks. Weighing in well hydrated but with an empty digestive system. Should resume treadmill time this week.
138 is one of those numbers I've used as a milestone over the years. It is now within reach.
A true bunch of losers haunt this thread!! Congrats on everyone's continued progress.5 -

5'2" almost 5'3" Small frame. In my 40's with 3 kids.
Weighed about 105 most of my life until I became hypothyroid after my 2nd child. Hovered about 110-115 until 2013 when hormones went out of whack from PCOS.
Highest weight 143 (Jan of 2016)
Starting weight 133 (Jan 1 2017)
Current weight 128/129
Short term goal 125
Long term goal 110-115 (depending on measurements)
I also track measurements...so long as SOMETHING is going down then I feel like I've made progress.5 -

Weigh in Wednesday! I was BAAAADDDD this week with the Superbowl party! Last week I was 126.6 on Wed., I was 126.0 on Friday, and, on Monday morning I was back up to 128.3. But, this doesn't freak me out anymore! I got right back to it, ate the way I really DO like to eat (greens, veggies, protein, fruit) and, even without doing any exercise except for walking the dog (thankfully I did a Power Yoga class before the superbowl party!) I am back to 126.2 this a.m. I am sure -- SURE -- that I"ll hit 125 this weekend. Heading for the teens is right @SheilaCali !! (As always, thanks SO MUCH for the encouragement.)

Happy that I've been holding steady at 124 and not gaining! Still need to lose the last 4 but I think my schedule is finally stabilizing that I can get back to zumba/yoga and lifting weights. It makes a difference!5

I'm struggling the last few days. I'm bored with the foods I've been eating and even though I've been good, I have plateued a bit with my weight. I'm trying to stay motivated, but I'm super tempted to cheat on my diet!2

I'm up a few ounces but it's ok because I know it's because I'm PMSing. I know a big lost is in order in a few days. I am determined to still eat well, drink lots of water, and exercise. I plan to eat popcorn, cashews, and raisins with no sugar added to curb the sweet and salty cravings. Have a fantabulous Friday ladies!.2 -
Oh I forgot to talk about my NSV...my waist went from 30 to 28.5, neck 11.8 to 11.5, and hips from 36 to 35.5
