Plain Cheerios, unsweetened almond milk/or skim milk, piece of fruit or berries.
Depending on the fruit, either a little over 200 calories, or a little under 200 calories.

I had a bagel thin with 2 tbsp cream cheese this morning, 170 cals.
Packet of oatmeal is like 130 calories.
    Eggs are what, 70 calories?

There are lots of options... it's all about portion/serving sizes.

I also just do coffee with almond milk...I save the rest of my calories for later in the day. Works well for me. If I get hungry, it's usually around 10 am and I will have an apple and maybe some chicken.

I had 2 slices of Aunt Millie's potato bread (35 calories a slice, 70 cal total), Kroger brand just fruit blackberry spread (35 Calories per tbsp) and black coffee, today,100 calories total. For something more substantial, you could do 2 slices of potato bread (70 cal) 4 slices of lean smoked deli sliced ham (Kroger brand is 47 cal for 4 slices) 1 slice of Sargento Garlic and herb Jack (70 cal) Toasted. Add mustard or honey mustard and a bunch of baby spinach (15 cal) 202 calories total.

I do scrambled egg whites with laughing cow cheese most days and then later on in the morning I'll do either yogurt or oatmeal/cream of rice. Ends up being around 200 calories and I am splitting up my meal.

I'm not a morning person so usually I have a PB sandwich, 2 70calorie slices of bread, and 1tbspn of Peter pan whipped pb about 70cal. If I'm feeling extra hungry (usually), I'll go to 3 slices and 2 tblspn

    40g of porridge oats
    100ml of semi-skimmed milk
    And one banana
Totalling to 289 calories! Which is great because it's easy to make (I like to make mine in the microwave) and very filling!☺

    292 calories, very filling
2 Scrambled eggs, spinach, 2-chopped turkey sausage patties, 2 tablespoons of pico de gallo, one stick of light string cheese

You could lower the calories by eliminating the cheese and/or using egg whites

What brand of turkey sausage do you use?

I am lacking time in the mornings usually so sometimes it's a container of Greek yogurt and a k cup other mornings a slice of toast with blackberry jam and a k cup and rarely a premade egg muffin cup. The egg cups I premake with ham and spinach in a muffin tin then freeze and keep a few on the fridge as well

I use Butterball Natural Inspirations turkey sausage patties. I think they're 90 calories a serving (2 patties).
  • I'm thinking about starting to have morning veggies. You can eat a lot and still keep it under 200 calories. Being able to eat enough to satisfy is kind of important to me, although there is something to be said about not needing so much food.

This morning I had a 100 cal multigrain English muffin, 3tbs of eggwhites (I bought the carton - ahh!), and a slice of reduced fat Sargento provolone. Added some fun Italian spices to the egg and voila! 175 calorie breakfast sandwich.

Now I just need a calorie-free orange juice and i'll be all set ;)

I have a yummy yogurt parfait for breakfast every day. 70 grams of fresh or frozen blueberries; a 5.3 oz container of Trader Joe's vanilla Greek yogurt; topped with 1 oz of granola. All kinds of great textures, decent amount of protein and 271 calories. It keeps me full until lunchtime.

Plain Cheerios, unsweetened almond milk/or skim milk
I second this: my breakfast every morning is 36-42g of plain Cheerios and 1/2 cup of 1% milk. On weekdays I use a pre-packaged cup of Cheerios (36g) for speed and convenience: that plus the milk is 185 calories. On weekends or when I work from home I pour 1.5 cups (42g) of Cheerios out of the box, and then I'm looking at 205 calories (including the milk).

My mid-morning snack, which some might include/count as breakfast, is usually 80 calories of Greek yogurt: before lunch I've had only 265-285 calories.

    Breakfast today:

    3oz breakfast steak
2 fried eggs (take these out for 180 less calories)
    1 cup red bell pepper
    1/4 cup yellow onion
    2 c coffee w/ 1/4c half and half

Calorie count is about 350. revised: 450
    breakfast minus eggs: 270 calories

This is a perfect breakfast for my exercise days. If I wanted to slim it down I could cut out the steak or the eggs.

Hmm...looking at the calorie count again, this site says two fried eggs is 90 calories, but just googleing the calorie count it says 1 fried egg is 90 calories. probably 1@90 is right, so for low cal take out the eggs.

Fruit smoothie bowls! I love refreshing breakfasts. Plus if you were starting your day on toast then maybe carbs are your preferred ways to start the day? Aldi sells frozen fruit really cheap. A couple bags would get you through the work week.

This morning I had oatmeal and over-easy eggs ... 1/4 cup old fashioned oats cooked up with 1/2 cup water and topped with 2 large eggs cooked in 1 pat of butter and sprinkled on with a pinch of kosher salt and a couple grindings black pepper. And 2 cups of water before I ate. Plus 1 cup of coffee as a chaser. 231 calories and I was fine for 3 hours before I thought about food again ... and I wasn't really hungry yet, but was starting to think about lunch.

I pre make muffin tin omelettes. I add in whatever veggies I want into a muffin tin and mix the eggs and a splash of milk together and pour it into the muffin tin with the veggies and top with cheese. I bake them for 20-25min and then have them in the fridge for the week. I usually eat 2 for breakfast and they are about 150 cal for 2, depending what you put in them. They keep me full till lunch.

I LOVE THIS IDEA!! I will hopefully be able to implement this recipe this week.
