I will be out of town working on Valentines Day so I made plans for this weekend. I sent flowers letting my wife know we have plans this weekend but kept the details a surprise. Aside from being a nice gesture, this lets her be the center of attention at work. As for our date night, first is a carriage ride through downtown followed by dinner at a very nice restaurant and then a night at a nice hotel where there will be candles, rose petals, and her favorite drinks already on ice.5

Typical Tuesday, except with a steak dinner and something fun for dessert. Salted caramel apple cobbler maybe.

Considering that, I've cheated death on; 2 separate Valentine's Days (1st I, was almost born on; Valentine's Day & most likely wouldn't have survived being born that early, since 6 months after my birth a genetic liver condition was discovered; I was due April 2nd but came a day earlier & 2nd when I was 17 years old I, collapsed while riding my bicycle due; to hypoglycemia & had amnesia for, 2 days. All I, knew was that; Clinton was President & the Backstreet Boys were my favorite boy band, I didn't even know; my own name or recognize my, family members.) & I am also single, so my prospects; aren't ideal!0

What I do every year. Nothing.
Nicholas Sparks will be my date for the night.1 -
Husband and I both think it's a totally useless holiday, so we don't usually do anything for each other. But my 5 year old son is interested in the idea, so I'll be taking HIM on a date to dinner and a movie, complete with chocolates and flowers. Just because I don't care for the holiday doesn't mean that his future wife won't, so I want him to see how it's done right.
