Its would not be necessarily faster than standard lowering of calories per day however for some knowing you only have to lower calories (diet) for 2 day can help alot with compliance so yeah the main way to speed up weight loss is to create a bigger calorie deficit hope that helps0

I did ADF for my weight loss phase, 5:2IF for the transition period between the weight loss phase and maintenance, and now I do 16:8IF as part of my maintenance plan. IF in its various forms has helped me hit my calorie targets and I enjoy doing it2
