Hello Everyone and welcome Newbies! I am sorry I have been missing for a while. I am back and ready for a SPRING challenge. Everyone is doing great on 12 week challenge and please keep going. Spring challenge is just a motivation to help keep you pushing forward. I will be starting my next journey on losing those 50 pounds and its going to be very hard. I have let myself back slide and have some health issue that I am working through. This will be a EYE opening journey for me, discovering my weakness and strengths. I have turned to medical help in finding out what is going on with my body. My hormones are out all over the place. [Hormones are used to communicate between organs and tissues for physiological regulation and behavioral activities, such as digestion, metabolism, respiration, tissue function, sensory perception, sleep, excretion, lactation, stress, growth and development, movement, reproduction, and mood.]
I am learning a lot about hormones and the role they play in my body functions and why its important to have balance of hormones in our body. Wish me luck and follow me on my journey, I need all the help I can get.

    Have a great Weekend :)

    Izzy

It is well documented that a healthy diet, exercise, and lifestyle change are key in cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes prevention and management. These disease states are directly correlated to obesity. Integrated, successful, and sustainable weight loss are imperative in disease prevention and management.

One of the biggest causes of diet sabotage? Getting hungry midday and turning to whatever foods you encounter. That's why it's so important to be prepared with what I call "emergency snacks." These are diet-friendly foods that can be stored in your purse, backpack, desk drawer, or mini fridge. They’re perfect for crushing hunger cravings!

Always start your day on the right foot and keep those junk food cravings at bay by loading your breakfast with protein. Not only will doing so keep you full for longer than a carb-heavy meal, it can also help slim you down.
