Count me in.
Favorites are too many to list. Mostly it is whatever I saw last. Which would be Phantom in London last summer.
Getting ready to build sets for Sound of Music at the local High School. My Daughter is Maria and Son is Rolf.
This might belong on the confession thread, but I am not sure about "Hamilton".1 -
I'm listening to Book of Mormon soundtrack right now...
I saw Rent and Miss Saigon in NYC.
I have a bad habit of singing and dancing along to sound tracks like I know what I'm doing.0 -

I have never seen Les Mis but I enjoy the music!0

*Dances in with jazz hands, singing, "Let meee... entertain youuuu!*
Rent is my favorite too (I totally got your Roger/Mimi 3 line reference today), along with Chicago and Fiddler. I've seen so many quality shows at this awesome theatre in the round near where I live. I like old ones like Showboat, 42nd Street, & Guys and Dolls. Seeing Sweeney Todd, Spamalot, and Hello Dolly this summer. Wicked is still on my must see list...0 -
Scarlet Pimpernel!!0

I love Musicals both on stage and the movie versions. Newsies is probably my favorite with Colma The Musical a close second. Other favorites are Nightmare Before Christmas, and lots of Andrew Lloyd Webber's, especially Cats.0

I was wondering if anyone would catch that.
I love Rent. It never gets old to me. I love that the movie version uses most of the original Broadway cast.0 -
Musical Theatre major here! My favorite is quite unpopular, but the music in BKLYN: The Musical, is just incredible! Also love Next to Normal1
-
Massive fan, any musical and I love it. Moulin Rouge is probably my fav though, when Ewan sings Your Song I still almost cry... I used to do all the musicals in school until my brain decided to become a d*ck and get every form of anxiety possible.1

I still think that reservoir dogs is a musical.

You have to be a heathen not to love musicals. My all-time favorite musical is Evita (I re-watch it a few times a year, tbh), but I also love Grease, Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, Hairspray, The Sound of Music, Rent, etc.
And oh man, don't even get me started on the Buffy musical ep, "Once More, With Feeling." That's a forever fave and I will fight everyone on this.1 -

Too many favs. Chess. Wicked. Hamilton. Guys and Dolls. NEWSIES. West Side Story (Officer Krupke). Little Shop of Horrors. The Producers. Titanic. Been listening to the Soundtrack of "The Great Comet of 1812". Not bad. Frozen (guilty pleasure). Recently read "The Secret Life of the American Musical: How Broadway Shows are Built" by Jack Viertel. Good reading.0
