My hubby and I are going to a live production of Grease at a dinner theater in exactly 5 weeks for my birthday. I've got this fantastic 50's style dress but it's a little on the snug side. I'm hoping to lose 5-7lbs between now and then. I'm down 7.4 in the last 4 weeks so I'm hoping it's possible. I'd love to look & feel great in the dress.9

I am going to a wedding on 22nd april, and to really annoy the mother of the bride (my chubby friend who told me on saturday that SHE wanted ME to STOP losing) i want to get into a very expensive uk size 14 dress, which is so close to fitting perfectly! 5-7lbs should do it... or some very unglamourous scaffolding type underwear!13

I'm going home to Texas for my birthday Mar 3-6. My goal is to not gain while I am there. It is so hard because of all the southern cooking that goes on and there is no opportunity to exercise.10

Mini goal: I see little muscles in my arms and I want to see more of them!9

My son graduates from his surgery residency at the end of June and he's invited us to the formal dinner celebration and I want to be able to shop for a nice dress to wear, so my goal is to be 170 by then. That's 38 pounds in 19 weeks. I'm lifting heavy and doing 45 to 60 minutes of hard cardio six days per week, and sticking to my food plan, so I'm SURE I can do this.21

My boyfriend and I's four year anniversary is coming up this June and we've both become errr... more fluffier than when we first started dating. I was 135 back in 2013, my highest was ~160 in 2015, and now I'm down to 148. I want to get back to my best shape and inspire us to maintain a healthy lifestyle.9

Mine is to work out consistently with my husband daily - strength training AND cardio. also, the pair of lilly pulitzer shorts size 12 my mom bought for me to wear this summer. (currently in a 16.)5

I bought an XL Julia dress that I'm so close to feeling comfy in! A little less love handle and arm chub - so maybe 10lbs (I tend to lose pretty evenly all over) to go! It's lovely spring/summer colours so I know it'll be worth the wait!9

Longer term: My fam and I will travel to Italy for our dream trip (3 years of saving, 1 of planning). I want to be at a total weight loss of 20 lbs by then. I have 8 weeks and 7.5 lbs to go and my scale is not the best at moving!
Short term goal is OBLITERATED thanks to a *swoosh*. I am at a BMI today of 29.4!!!
Next mini goal is to get to weight of hubs and I's first date (4 lbs) and simultaneously hit the 20 lb. mark19 -

Congrats. I'm still trying to get to Obese class I (under 35). Bounced off it Saturday but have not quite made it yet. Next day or 2. Hope to be overweight by the summer.7 -
My mini goals: 1st to hit 135. It's 25% of the way to my goal weight. I'd like to fit into size 8 pants and run 1 straight mile w/o stopping.5

mini goal: break into the 170s for the first time in 15 years. I've been bouncing around in the 180s since last summer (going up into the 190s over the holidays) but I'm at 180 now Hoping to be solidly in the 170s at next weigh-in8

I have milestone clothing that I've either never fit in or haven't fit in in a while. Each one is it's own mini-goal. Then breaking the 200 barrier. I don't think I've been less than 200 lbs. as an adult.10

I passed the first 10lb mini goal. Now on to the next 10lb mini goal - only 8.8 more to go! It's funny, I actually feel like I'm starting over a little haha. After the first mini goal, I rewarded myself with sunglasses. After the next mini goal - I think new workout tights!
Cheers everyone, love reading these, especially the updates of people breaking their goals!!11 -

Great job!!2 -
Just 3 pounds to go to get below 150.12

Next goals:
196.7 - 30% of my body weight lost!
191 - 90lbs lost!
179 - move out of the obese category and into overweight!!!
Non-weight related:
Finish my 30 day plank challenge with my friend (we only have 4 days left)
Start wall sit challenge with same friend
Keep doing my strength training exercises!
Update!!!
Made it to 195.6 this morning. That's 30.4% of my body weight lost!!! 85 lbs down!
191 is right around the corner!
Finished my plank challenge.
Started a new challenge. We decided to not to walk sits but do squats and abs.
And I've continued on with my other strength training! Even though I've started dating and juggling that with trying to eat healthy and still workout can be rough. (Eventuall I would feel comfortable asking them to do some of these things with me but just not there yet)
I love reading everyone's goals! Keep up the hard work!
Okay... over the past few days I've been really rethinking and re-evaluating what I think my goals should be. I want to focus less on numerical goals. I mean 191 is still doable so that can stay and so can 180. However, longer term I think I need to rethink my UGW. Originally I thought 150 but I don't think I want to have an UGW at all.
I think I want a size goal and a body comfort goal. Something over the past few days I've thought about is that even in high school I was a size 8 and 175... which I now realize is actually pretty small for 175. I have a friend who is 150 and a size 9 and a friend who is 140 and a size 8.... And right now at 195ish I can wear a 12... I think I would be happy with a size 8 again.
PLUS I want to feel comfortable in my body. That's the most important thing to me. I don't want to aim for a numerical goal that in the long run is going to be hard for me to maintain nor do I want to jeopardize my muscle mass by aiming for a low number. SO what I'm thinking is I would rather focus on Body fat % right now I'm somewhere around 27% body fat. I'd like to get to between 20-23% and see how I feel there...
So to achieve this longer term goal... I will continue doing my strength training and walking/biking/etc. and eat at a smaller deficit to preserve muscle. and at some point I will probably shift to recomp and eat at maintenance.14 -
