@_nikkiwolf_ I put SpeedPlay pedals on. No problem with the cleats fitting my Giro three whole system.
I really really really like how easily they unclip. Falls no more!
If the weather is reasonable tomorrow, I'll get out for a ride.
I'm seriously looking at a mountain bike. LBS has a Cannondale catalyst I almost brought home. I figured it'd be a good way to work on overall strength. DH is not 100%, but hes not likely to balk if I want it.

Has Spring sprung in southern England? :glasses: Double digit temperatures this weekend.
One of those rites of Spring is switching my default bike on Strava from an indoor to an outdoor bike.....
No mileage target this month, just to do as much as possible. Fitness levels are down following a couple of bouts of illness but recovering at last.

Haven't done any indoor bike training this week, apart from one aborted virtual Spinning class which I gave up on after ten minutes as the dippy hippy video instructor was soooooo irritating. Joined a new gym near work so should be able to bump up the training volume.
Couple of outdoor rides despite very high winds. I love it when the following wind matches your road speed and it all goes quiet apart from the swish of tyres and chain.

Heya, long time no see. Totally wiffed it on the winter biking this year. I procrastinated getting my studded tires on my winter bike, and then we got slammed with crazy ice coating everything and I didn't really feel like bike commuting on an ice rink. February has brought some crazy weather for Minnesota - highs in the 60s have melted all of the snow and ice, so I'm back out on the road. And oh boy did I miss it. I am bleepin miserable when I don't bike. Winter weight gain isn't as bad as last year, when I hit 140. I'm still at 138 though, so gotta buckle down on the food and exercise. I'm planning to sign up for an indoor triathlon at my gym in March and April, and I've already got a 5k scheduled on March 18th and a 10k on April 29th. Still playing with the idea of an Olympic length triathlon in July, but we'll see how the 10k goes before dumping money on that.
