Side note:
I used to weigh in on Fridays - numbers used to look so good but Over time I realized..it was the same number over and over again. WHY- u might ask ?...well, I would celebrate my "success" by not paying attention to what I eat on the weekend and basically put it all right back on ..for me ..weighing in on Monday helps keep me a bit more accountable over the weekend (Sat & Sun - my weightloss kryptonite).

Successes / struggles this week: I seem very prone to soft tissue injuries in my feet/ankles and have always struggled with knee pain. I lost 30 pounds a few years ago and felt the best I've ever felt. I took a new job, had to go back to school and ended up sacrificing my health in the process. I haven't gained the full 30 back but am getting close. I just had some minor surgery last week, and have decided it's time to get back at it. My challenge is taking it slow to avoid injury and making it a priority to take care of myself.

Trying to keep calories around 1200 on weekdays. Exercise +3 times each week. 1 less dessert/treat each day from the day before. Focus on eating sustaining meals and snacks.
Weekends are difficult and I'm not thrilled with how my weight loss has been going so far. Didn't exercise this past week at all.2 -

Successes / struggles this week: Keeping my same goal from February since I didn't meet it yet. My loss has been so slow, I'm just not as motivated during the winter.. Last year my best loss month was May, so I'm crossing my fingers that the coming springtime is easier to get out and get moving!

Successes / struggles this week: I was on the sickie diet this week. Home with the flu means lots of hot tea and toast with not much else. But I will take it. Hopefully I will feel well enough to hit the gym later in the week and maybe take the dog for a walk if it ever stops snowing1 -

I started off really strong this week. Went to the gym two days in a row even. But as usual as the week starts to get crazy so does my diet. I even had fast food a couple of times This is my first time doing a challenge and I must say this is providing a level of accountability that I've definitely been missing.
