    I call them Gouda burgers, because I cut up gouda into small cubes and mix them into the meat before I make patties.

    I guess the sentiment is don't mess with my food and if you fit it in your macros you are in the gold.
    I would not want anyone to think they could not have a cheese burger and lose weight. People already have some restrictive preconceived ideas of what is healthy.

    Why ground beef is fine if in say, a chilli for "clean eaters" but that same mince is formed into a patty is bad I will never understand. A good burger has little added other than seasoning (or cheese as above). Ahh diet industry, how you do be foolish.

    For a while, cheeseburgers were my favorite diet food in the employee cafeteria because I could easily estimate their contents.
