A few years ago my youngest son was in his twenties working in NYC. He arranged to meet a female colleague from the London office for a weekend in Vegas.
They had a tiff so he went out by himself, partied and found some other female companions to party with.
The next morning when he awoke the London girl was GONE. Before she left she ruined his phone, took all his money and ID.
He git back to NYC and learned a valuable lesson.. "Hel hath no fury like..."2 -

Could have happened to me, could have happened to Britney Spears. I've never been to Vegas so this is my only point of reference. Well this, and an episode of Full House where DJ got in trouble for pulling the lever on the slot machine and Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky almost got eloped.

I would love to visit Vegas one day. Closest I've gotten to that state is going to Colorado

I know a number of people who went there for professional reasons to wait tables and tend bar. They pretty much all became home owners and enjoyed a standard of living that's fairly hard to come by doing the same work in other cities/states in the U.S.

Mine is not real exciting but my favorite part of my first Vegas trip. I was there with about 20 others I know, 21 years old. One night I needed to get away from everyone that I knew. I took off and explored the strip on my own for several hours. First time I had ever explored a new city on my own and Vegas to boot?! It was an empowering, fun, confidence boosting, amazing night. I talked to so many strangers, saw so many things. I kinda want to go do it again.1

I was 12 the last time I was in Las Vegas to actually visit and not just passing through on a layaway at the airport....sooo, I guess you could say that the craziest thing I've ever done in Vegas was ride the roller coaster at Circus Circus six times back-to-back without getting off of the ride between take-offs. Oh yeah...real nail-biting, shocking stuff there. 1

I was born in and lived in Vegas for 35 years. I visited family at Christmas and bought a duvet cover at Ikea. Highlight of my trip.2

I was the supposed to be the best man at my friend in the marine corps wedding for a girl he knew a month. Of course I was late getting to vegas (driving from California). There was traffic in vegas and we were drinking beer. My other friend who was driving decided to drive on the sidewalk to get around traffic. I end up missing the wedding. After we were going gambling, we stopped at a liquor store to get some Mickeys hand grenades and there was a bum outside. I gave him 20 dollars and said I was about to lose it anyway gambling. The bum started crying. So I gave him a beer too.2

I have only been to Vegas on business. One time I was staying out late hanging out in the MGM casino/lobby area at about midnight, 1am just people watching. A lady walked by me going away from the way I was facing. She got about 15 feet passed me turned her head, looked at me and smile. She then turned back and continued walking. I started thinking in the back of my mind, wow you still got it. She then turns around and started walking to me, she was absolutely beautiful. She come up to me and ask me, if I was looking for company. I immediately realize that she is a prostitute, I politely turned her down. It was at the moment that I accepted the fact that I had turned into an old businessman and no longer a young man.3
