Cindy you are where I want to be this year, I will keep pushing until I get there.

Lol...this comment threw me off because my name is Cindy too. I was like...why would you want to gain a bunch of weight.
Then I was like, "Oh, I'm notquitting, not Cindy in this instance". Lol :D
    Haha that's funny!

Good morning everyone, its cold here and a good day to just stay in. I can't wait for spring and some beautiful sunny days. Well, the scales started moving after a few days of stalling. I hope it keeps going, it really brings your mood down when it stalls. I realize that I have done well so far for this month, but I like to see the scale move.
I hope everyone is doing well and is keeping nice and warm.

    To Lose Weight

Does your refrigerator help you to lose weight or does it sabotage your best efforts to eat a healthy diet? The state of your fridge can make or break your weight loss plan. You'll start the cleaning process by removing all refrigerator foods. Once the entire fridge is empty, evaluate each item and decide if it supports or sabotages your weight loss plan.Throw away foods that are high in fat and sugar.  Replace with healthy low GI foods that will make staying on your weight loss journey a breeze. Keep snacks healthy and have plenty of bottled water on hand.
If you are organized it will make every day life much more easier.

Disappointed in this week's weigh in. I am happy to have hit 30lbs down, but I had a binge last night. I know that my weigh in would have been better if that hadn't happened. But, today is a new day and I am back on track!

    Weight lost/gained this week: +3.6
    Total lost/gained: -7.1

I was on vacation this week and didn’t always make the best food choices. Most of the gain is water retention so it will be gone by next weigh-in. On the positive side, I got plenty of steps in, between 13K-20K Monday through Thursday.

Cindy get back on track, its easy for the scales to go up and much harder to come down.

    Reaching Your Goals
Choose goals that are smart: specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-based.
Once you set your goal, use implementation intentions to help you grab opportunities to reach it, and overcome or sidestep obstacles that could keep you from achieving it.

Hi! I'm glad I found this challenge group. I am going on vacation in 12 weeks and even though I've made my own goals, having somewhere to be accountable will be helpful. I just had surgery a couple of weeks ago and have been under exercise restrictions with only walking allowed. The restrictions should be lifted in about 2 weeks and then I can start up again with my weightlifting and getting started up again with running.

Hi Greg, I notice you have not had a loss for 7 weeks. What is going on? Are you following any kind of plan? I know that sometimes stress can play a big roll in no weight loss. But you must get a hold on your health/weight and be committed 100%. We all want to do what we want and thats fine. But if you want to lose, you must let go of whatever is holding you back. I am not judging, I have struggled with my weight for years and I am finally seeing some results. I totally committed to a plan and I have stuck with it now 1 month and 3 days. I have until 7/16 to reach my goals. I don't think of reasons for not succeeding, I look forward to challenging myself to move ahead. Even if it is only a pound a week, they all add up. Stay strong, we are here to help if you need us.

    Hugs
    Izzy
