I've been going through a big dried fruit phase lately, apricots and prunes are my go-to snack but dried mango is amazing.
I really need to cut down on it though because...unpleasant digestive side effects.

I can probably eat a full bag of baby carrots in one sitting hahaha oops. I once turned my teeth orange (temporarily; my dentist pointed it out since I'd been snacking right before the appointment) from eating too many carrots.

I once ate so many carrots as a teen that my skin turned orange. As in my forearms, chest, and neck (not the face, oddly). Thankfully my family refrained from calling me their Oompa Loompa. Ah to be young and foolish again rather than old(er) and foolish!

As for snacks, I didn't snack my first go-around of weight loss and concentrated on larger meals (still within my calorie deficit). After taking a maintenance break over the holidays, i've re-introduced snacks and slightly smaller meals this time around and am still losing steadily. When I snack, my usual snacks range from carrots (in moderation!) to Cheetos to pretzels to apples and occasionally chocolate.

Baby carrots, blackberries and raspberries. Going to start eating more raw veggies for snacks too. Of course all weighed and ready. :p

Reading this just made me realise quite how much I snack - I just don't think about it as snacking I guess! So on a typical day I have a banana between breakfast and lunch, a tangerine and a little chocolate or almonds mid afternoon, some twiglets or salt and vinegar peanuts when I get home from work then after dinner either six dates (they are so gooey and fudgy) or chocolate. All of my meals are varied, well balanced and I'm lucky that we are able to cook from scratch. I've maintained for two and a half years now and my weight is always the same so I guess if I didn't snack I'd have to fit another meal into my day somewhere else I'd disappear! :D It works for some and not others mind, we're all individuals.

I rarely snack, but when I do it's usually a boiled egg, fruit, nuts or a small bowl of Bran Buds cereal.

Like budgeting I try to eat adequate amounts of protein, vitamins, fat, etc and if I have caloric room, a snack like a banana, orange or a pear. Love me some pairs.

Flavored rice cakes, diet soda pop, Greek yogurt with honey and oats/granola, Fibre 1 bars, protein bars, chocolate covered coffee beans.

I have to ask @zyxst... What is a passion flakie?

It's a pastry with cream and fruit (jam/jelly) filling.

When I'm doing it right, I use the Snack category to log the eaten back exercise calories. So, yesterday it had Ghirardelli 86% cocoa and a banana. Wednesday, it had Beanitos, ice cream, and a banana. When I'm doing it wrong, the Snack category gets very long.

Ostrim Beef and Ostrich Snack Stick. 80 Calories and 14 grams of protein. Nice way to add some low calorie/low fat (1.5 grams) protein and satisfy my mid-morning hunger issue.

Carrots dipped in Italian salad dressing
    Popcorn
    Fruit roll ups

I will also save up some room so at the end of the day I can have some chips or a piece
    of candy.

I don't get many calories, and I've got some really fun plans for me thinner, so all my food and drink and decisions need to move me toward my goal. I guess I'm so tired of being heavy that my choices actually feel good instead of like deprivation. I don't snack, but I would if I decided to keep back something from a meal for later.

Cashews, raspberries, Trader Joe's three layer hummus and thin crackers, small amounts of cheese and - the best! - Trade Joe's dark chocolate peanut butter cups. So worth the calories for one or two!

I just don't snack. It's not that difficult to go a few hours without food.

I've been piling up a lot of cardio the past 3 days. I decided to get an early start on eating back exercise calories with the company junk. I chose Lance Toasty Crackers with Peanut Butter. There's a little protein in there.

For my snacks I always aim for the 100 calorie mark:

Quaker chewy granola bars (the thin mint ones are amazing!)
    Whole fruit (apple or banana)
    Individual serving cereal
    Cheese stick
    Yogurt

    Anything Im hungry for.
My meals tend to be light, so if Im still hungry a while later, Ill go find a granola bar, or fruit if i have some, yogurt, or sometimes these little gyro sandwiches, theyre great. Sometimes as a snack I have ice cream or toaster strudels - I love wildberry. <3 But literally anything can be a snack. When i was low on calories, I had several crackers & peanut butter :D I always eat dessert, if I can help it, just because I like to. :) I neither have to eat snacks, nor forbid them. I just eat what I want, and stop when I've met my total, or close to it, sometimes a bit earlier when Im full. I dont pay that much attention to what meal it's called, I just mind the total calories.
