As long as it fits within your day- go for it! Me I like to have a treat before bed so I save my sugar until then

Same reply as merbear! also.. this thread title is a GREAT title for a song!!! I'm writing it.

It would be a good counterpoint to Afternoon Delight!

If you can fit it into your daily calories, why not? Personally, sugar triggers increased appetite for me so I prefer to limit my sugars early in the day to help control my appetite and prefer to fit it in at the end of the day when I know for sure I've got enough calories left

Then why would it not be ok. There is nothing bad about sugar but excessive amounts can cause problems for some people. If you have the calories for sugar use sugar, it's not evil.

Nothing wrong with sugar in the morning. My typical breakfast is grapes, Greek yogurt, and a granola bar. 24 grams of sugar right there (along with protein, carbs, fat and sodium.) The weight is coming off. If you have the calories to spend on sugar and you want the sugar, you can have it.

I was just curious that's all. I guess there are many myths in mainstream dieting. I wonder if people actually know WHY they are told not to consume something.
