MFP pushing liberal agenda

This was on my timeline this morning.
MFP should not be allowing ads like this one way or another!
We aren't allowed to discuss politics here but advertisers are allowed to push this type of crap?
I come on here for fitness and well being articles and information and to track my progress. These types of ads have no place here.

Financial Times is not a "liberal" publication.4

Go Premium! No ads.7

Premium doesn't have these issues2

I wouldn't really read too much into google ads to be honest though. They're the only reason why we can enjoy the app for free.5 -
The seven ads in a row in between my friends statuses is kind of annoying, but I'm not paying for premium so I deal with it.3

heehee...that's not much of a push. plus, why even pay attention? i could not tell you one single thing advertised on my app, i scroll thru too quickly.6

This. That's how most free sites operate. I don't think it has so much to do with Mfp because it's pulling from browser history.
But I can see why you would maybe think that to a point.3 -

Then, by all means, go Premium, or, if you, for what reason ever, don't want to, use a decent add-blocker.
The most funny thing about your rant was that this add would have passed completely unnoticed by most users if you wouldn't have promoted it this well. The Financial Times owes you a lot, I suppose.

It's and ad that is most likely based on your search history. It's the reason you can use the site for free. Don't like it, stop searching things related to it0

The advertisements're based upon, your own; search history! If you don't desire political advertisements then, don't search for; anything political & since you created a political thread you're now, going to receive even; more political advertisements!3
-
It's an ad from a tracking service on a free site. This is what happens to you when everything becomes about politics and you start seeing conspiracies everywhere.0

It's using your browsing history, so really you're the one pushing an agenda. I see ads for clothing sites that I've visited.1

If Brad's wife hadn't been fired, this wouldn't have happened.
Also... OP, this isn't on MFP. Ads are tailored to your search history. Keep your conspiracy theories to yourself.3 -
MFP will not divide us2

I see no ads. The Al Gore Internet god must be smiling on me.5

All of my ads are from amazon. And here's what I don't understand about amazon's ad programming: you're advertising the item I JUST BOUGHT. You don't have to advertise that, anymore. I already got it. I'm not going to buy it again.
I don't think MFP is trying to push its shopping agenda on me, though. Probably.7 -

The advertisers probably know a lot more about you than you think. For the most part, I understand it's kept anonymously (in the sense they don't know who you actually are).
However, they still know you might buy tickets to "Annie" one day because they know you probably have daughters, search for plays, maybe certain movies, etc...in your case, maybe you won't buy another one of the items in question, as you just bought it...but somebody similar to you will. They need another one for some reason. If they show that ad to enough people, then perhaps somebody like you will finally decide they really do need another one of those items so they can give it away as a present.
It's really interesting, but can also be alarming in a creepy way.
What do you know about me that I don't, Google?

Most of mine are recipe related. Or fitness trackers, which I already have 2 of.0

Man, wasn't it just a few weeks ago when sock puppets were creating fake accounts and announcing that they were leaving MFP because UnderArmour's CEO said some nice things about DJT?2
