I thought about increasing my goal now that the weather is nicer, but I'll miss the first week of the month due to a work trip... So I'll stay with my usual goal, 150km.0 -
I'm back for April! My goal this month is my usual 300 miles. Should be able to do that, I hope. Training plan is a bit wacky with TrainerRoad, though, so we shall see.0

I'm back! Joined in late in March, and failed to achieve my meager goal, but that just means nowhere to go but up, right? The one day I saddled up, I got about 3.5 miles in, so I'll set a modest goal for this month of 40 miles. Just something to get me riding regularly again and get my legs back.0

I'm going to stick to the same goal of 300 miles.
Most of them will likely be indoors on a trainer again. Riding is one of the cardio exercises I am using to loose weight, and the important thing for me is to just ride. I'm still using Zwift which has been alot of fun.
April is a busy month for me. I work full-time and am taking 2 classes towards a master's degree. Finals will be at the end of the month.1 -
I'm back in again, missed my 350 mile target last month by about 110 miles, not happy about it, but that's life.
A little more effort and less going to work should do the trick for April.
Anyway, I'm in for 350 miles again, and considering I'm away for a week it's gonna be challenge, but that's why we do this isn't it?
Apart from enjoying cycling.

Promising start to the month - finally the wind has died down and the sun has come out so a series of firsts:
First ride over 50 miles this year.
First ride this year on my carbon wheeled bike.
First ride in mitts not gloves.
Going to aim for 600 miles in April and see about entering my first Audax event of the year in early May.

This is my kind of challenge! Since I'm new to this site and just getting back in the swing after a meniscus tear/removal, I'm going to set a modest goal of 150 miles this month. I've had 2 days of mountain biking this month so I'm at 19.9 and when we get home (back to Florida) then I should be back on my road bike and hitting it on the weekends and a few nights per week. I track everything on Strava but I want this site to hold me accountable! Thanks for letting me join everyone!3

Glad to have all the newcomers to this thread, too! It's great to see more people getting into it!
I'm doing my first checking, though that's mainly because I want to mention a ride I did today. I botched it in a few ways, so my stats look like crap (forgot to tell the Garmin to stop recording when I needed to stop, forgot my cleats, so wasn't able to lock in on the pedals, and got a flat tire), but I *still* had a great ride. 30.1mi today (so 30.1 for the week), and I'm pondering doing it again next week, but doing it right to see if I can't reach my goals better for that ride.

I'm training for a 70.3 (in July), but until this week, I've been indoor cycling. My bike is in the shop getting a tune-up now, but hopefully I'll be ready to go outside this weekend. I'm hoping to get about 150 road miles in this month, in addition to indoor cycling about 4 hours per week.0
