I am at 193 lbs. My bmi is 27.6 and the smallest I have gotten on has been a size 8 but none have been really a pretty fit. Most my jeans are 10's or 12's now.0

I'm pregnant now but I was 154lbs, which at 5'6 gave me a BMI of just under 25. I was wearing a UK size 12, US8, and occasionally a smaller size in dresses. I'm that size in my profile pic.
I have a pair of size 8 trousers I bought in Abercrombie & Fitch when I went to the US, and at 15 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child they are still a little loose!0 -
I am 5'5.5" (LOL that half inch matters!!)
My BMI is 22.3 (weight is 136)
and I wear a size 2/4, sometimes a 6 depending on how the sizing is at particular stores0 -

This is so interesting, shows how dimensions and where your weight is store as well as bone structure has such an effect!
Weight: 118
Height- 5'3
Size- 8 UK
I have size 32E breasts though so shirts depend on cut and I'm definitely curvy with a 22" waist
BMI 21.60 -
I'm so confused on how the BMI calculator works I'm "overweight" according to the calculator but I wear a size 4/5 jeans! Being short defiantly has a downside 1 pound seems like 5
Here are my stats:
Height: 5'0"
Weight: 134 (working on cutting down to 123)
Jean Size: 4/5 (I typically wear Express or AE jeans)
Tops: S/M
BMI 26.17

Damn it. OLD THREAD.0

Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 152
BMI: 24.4
Tops: M for tank tops, M or L for department store shirts, XL for internet shirts (Threadless, Teepublic, etc) in ladies sizes.
Jeans: Probably a 12?
Dresses: ???
I have a big skeletal structure (and fair size boobs) so I doubt I will ever wear small size. My shoulders are far apart, for example, and the bones aren't going to shrink as I lose weight, lol. My pelvic bone also seems to be pretty wide. I will never be petite, but I will be happy if I can look like / feel like a strong, healthy Amazon.0 -

You sound like me, except that I am 4 or 5 inches taller...Queen of the Amazons!
I don't think that I commented on this particular thread, but there are a bunch of similar threads floating around. I am such an outlier--I wear the same sizes as people nearly 100 pounds lighter than me in some cases. Skeletal size, muscle density, breast size and long vs. short-waisted can make a really huge difference.0 -
5'8' 184 lbs BMI 27.9 size regular 16. The scale keeps creeping down and my clothes keep getting looser.0

Get used to this weirdness! There are tons of girls that weigh a lot more than me and wear a lot smaller sizes than I do. It's all in the way we are shaped and the distribution of our weight on our frames. It's amazing how different we all are!

We're actually pretty close, even those my BF is way higher than yours. But I've seen women who are shorter and weigh 30+ pounds more than me in smaller sizes, so...what's up with that, right? It's all in the way our mass is distributed on our skeletons.
ETA: Oh dang! This thread is OLD! OP, are you still there?0 -

Same here except a large to extra large in shirts.....our build must be different.

I'm 5'4.5" and 134 lbs. My BMI is 23 and I wear anywhere from a 4 to an 8, though a size 6 is usually a safe bet. For tops I wear a medium usually, mostly because I have large boobs and I've lost a lot of weight and my tummy isn't as flat as I'd like0

Height: 5'10

BMI: 21.4
Size: tops US4-6 (UK8-10) S/M sometimes XS (h&m) and my bottoms are generally US6 (UK10) S/M. Usually go M for comfort if I can get away with them not falling down.
I have a small frame, my wrist is well under 6in, but wide hips, boobs and muscular calves (weird I know) so sizing is a bit of a crud shoot sometimes.1 -

I didn't read the entire post, but one thing to note when reading these: many people have a different idea of what "fits" -- a girl I know lost over 50 lbs and said "I didn't go down ONE size!" -- I thought, that is because your clothes were SO, SO tight to begin with. Now they fit nicely.1
