Just checking in. Lost a couple of pounds this week. Probably could have lost another pound, but had 2 indulgent days this week. Progress not perfection.

Well I have a new plan. My personal trainer daughter suggested low carb. So now I am leaving out sugar, flour, high sugar fruits, root veggies, processed foods, etc and so far so good. Still counting calories and its amazing how much good food you can actually eat when you leave out the not so good stuff. Here's hoping this will kick a few pounds to the curb.

I am going to do this challenge. I've been using fitness pal for the last two weeks.
Start weight: 225 April 10
Current weight: 215.2 April 18th
Goal : 185 by July 21st1 -
Staying stuck at 164 for a few weeks now. Not going to get discouraged going to push through. Starting weight was 1682

I like the idea of sharing with others who understand but also pushing one another toward a goal. I weigh about the same as many of you but next birthday I'll turn 50 and weight loss definitely gets more difficult with age...hormones et al. I weighed myself then put the scale away. I am mentally affected by no loss or a gain which triggers depression and self loathing that of course leads to self medicating with food. My overall goal is 30 lbs but first is 10 in 6 weeks for son's graduation. I can do this!1

Count me in. I need some accountability. I am starting today. I have been losing the same 5 pounds for the past year. I bounce all over the place when trying to decide what to do for dieting. Today, I decided to keep it simple. Track calories in Myfitnesspal daily and workout for 45 minutes 5-6 times a week. Trust me just putting this down in writing has already helped. Like I said "I am one of those who start a new diet everyday" I need to stop the madness. I also commit to checking in after my weekly weigh-ins on Sunday.

Am happy to see some weight dropping, been working pretty hard n watching my food.
Start weight 79.9 kgs, when I joined: 76.2 kg
Started seriously at 23.03
Current weight: 73.9kg.
Happy things are moving but although am injured due to exercise.1 -
