I go for Jillian. I just like the way she is so tough and pushes everyone to do what they need to do to lose their weight!

Bob all the way!! I think he's just as motivational and does sit down to talk to you also. He's done it in past shows.
    My vote is for Bob:drinker:

:noway: : I thought that Bob's out burst of the *F* word several times to one of the contestant's on the show a couple of weeks ago was disrespectful to her using that language, yes I know he was trying to make her wake up and see that she was not giving it her all, *But* If that had been me I would not be on the show anymore and well.... Bob, I think he would have had to make a trip to the Dentist for a new set of teeth for he would think he had eaten those words."NO ONE" should have to take that kind of verble abuse from anyone, and that would include a trainer.

but jillian has also swore at people to get on the treadmill, etc

Yeah, Jillian's erupted into bouts of profanity PLENTY of times. Bob's explosion just got publicized because he's the calm, encouraging one.

But I'd have to take Jillian. I have a passive-aggressive streak, and over time I can trick almost anyone into believing what my limits are. It's subconscious. With Jillian, it wouldn't matter because she doesn't give a damn about limits. Haha, her only limit is the time it takes you to wipe the puke off the treadmill. Sometimes, I just need a good kick in the *kitten*.

At the same time, Jillian is NOT a pure beatdown trainer. Anyone who totally polarizes her and Bob does not watch the show. She DOES spend time with her team members, providing emotional support (even if it's not the soft and fluffy kind) and making them see why they got to the place they are.

Are you kidding? -even my 11 yr old just said Bob's outburst made the show more interesting. I loved it, I laughed and laughed! Her poor team was suffering and he had to get her moving, cause he knew Carla would kill her if she got the punt. I would have done the same. She needed that-and after it all,:drinker: she will love him for that-cause he got her to move her lazy buns!

I have to go with Jillian - but not because she's so tough - It seems to me like she tries to get more to the emotional root of the issue. Yep, Jillian:devil: for me.

  • Bob or Jillian...I can't tell you how many times I have pondered this question...my response??? Why do I have to choose??? They are both wonderful motivators who absolutely truly care about each and every person they are given to train. They create their whole plan from diet to workout....EVERYTHING!

Bob and Jillian both sit down and talk to their teams about what is going on emotionally in their jouneys. I like Bob's yoga, I love Jillian's I NEVER TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER mentality...but honestly I feel like if either of them were my trainer...BOTH would kick my behind in total shape...

Do you know where I can pick one up????? LOL

Guess the bottom line is...if I had a chance I would grab whomever I could get my hands on and count my blessings at having such a wonderful opportunity. They both inspire me...I never miss Biggest Loser because these shows make me realize how easy I have it only having to answer to myself and that ulitmately I really can do this!

    I'd pick Bob.

He's definitely not the 'easier' trainer, despite what some people might think. Also, I enjoy some good eye candy and I think looking at that body would motivate me tons. Even knowing he's WAY out of my league I'd still just enjoy the show and the dream.

    HAHAHA.
  • I'd have to go with Bob too

I gotta go with Jillian....I think she'd do a better job of getting my butt in shape!!

And also...I've read her book ("Winning By Losing"), actually a few times - there is so much info in it that it is a lot to digest! I recently got Bob's book "Are You Ready" - and I can't even finish it. It doesn't really flow, and it doesn't tell me what I need to do (for the mental part, anyway) like Jillian's book does. Hers is cut and dry. Also, the workouts in her book kick my butt....while I haven't tried Bob's, it doesn't sound near as challenging.
  • I'd have to go with Bob. Jillian's big mouth would annoy me too much.
