Well, that might be the only piece of advice I haven't quite used yet! But I am making more of an effort to hit my target as it stands now and not worrying so much about my macros. My diary's open.....

@TavistockToad Thank you. I do plan to increase my calories, but want to do it slowly in the hope that I can keep it going instead of giving up because it's just too difficult

So you over train and don't eat enough calories? Hmm k. Good luck with that long term.

I don't over train any more.

I've maintained my weight and built lean muscle over the last year or so, so whatever I've done has worked so far. What I want though is to take my fitness to the next level so I'm listening to all the great advice given on here: reducing my training days and increasing my food intake.

That sounds very reasonable. Still a cut, but not drastic.

OK, yesterday wasn't a great day... agreed! I'd had a rubbish nights' sleep and wasn't feeling great so didn't eat as much as I should have.

I'm reading alot of people down on you about your calorie intake. I'm a shorty (5') too and really have about the same amount of calories daily. Seriously, whoop whoop for the shorties!

You're reading people concerned with OP's calorie intake based on what she herself has said are her goals... no one is being 'down' on anyone.

I've definitely taken a bashing the last couple of days!

Yay for shorties with low calories :D

    Awesome job!
What are your fitness goals? Are you trying to build muscle or just lose fat?
I'm not a fellow short person (I'm a little over 5'10) but MFP set my calories around 1500 so I don't see what all the fuss about your calories is about..
Do you work out? And do you eat back those calories or no?

As long as she knows how much food she is consuming is all that matters. A person can eat 3 meals a day , and stilll have the calories at 1200. That doesn't mean he/she isn't eating all that he/she needs. Maybe the meals that they eat are limited. I know I keep my meals 500 cal. - 400 cal. Each . She looks amazing ! And she's worked hard for where she's at, no one should try to rain on her victory !

As I said, given OP's previous posts she is not eating enough to get the results that she herself has stated that she wants... that is all.

I'm not disputing she has done great so far but chronic under eating will do her damage over time.
