PC Skyr is a weekly buy for me at RCSS.
Joseph's low carb flat breads, pitas, lavash are always on the list, Nutrition House a local health food store or online.
Metro has Promise GF bagels which are huge and 130cal each.
Would help other if you post where to buy this stuff you speak of haha
These are such good finds, I haven't been to RCSS in a while, been low renting at No Frills lol
"Low rent" No Frills (where I live) has PC Skyr.
I've never seen it at mine, are you in Ontario?
Yes.1 -
Another Canadian here. Our Oreos are lower in calories than American ones, so while we might not have all the cool flavours that Americans' have, we can eat two for 110 calories VS two for 150 calories in the USA. Ha sorry that's all I can contribute, but watching this thread and getting some good ideas.
This is only true of original oreos and golden. All the specialty flavours seem to run 150 per 2 just like Double Stuff. Still better than Dare sandwich cookies that run 190 per 2 I guess (although year long pumpkin spice...).
Pillers Salami Whips (ETA: available at Loblaws) are awesome, the macros are perfect for keto if you opt for the Kabanosy variety. But be sure you are weighing this product, the stated total product is always grossly incorrect.

I love Yogen Fruz! (The original kind where you pick a couple frozen fruits and they mix it with the plain frozen yogurt).4

T&T hasn't made it here yet, but I've noticed Superstore stocking more of their house brand products. We stop when we're in Alberta to stock up on gluten-free oyster sauce for my celiac father-in-law.1
-
So Superstore has PC brand frozen dark sweet cherries and they are amazing.
So delicious. I had chocolate overnight oats with cherries for breakfast and I am already waiting for tomorrow to have it again.7 -
Krisda sugar-free chocolate chips. 1 tbsp = 50 cal. Also I've tried a lot of Carb-Rite products and most have been successful. Think muffins with less than 60 calories & maple sugar oatmeal with 90 cal. and no sugar, 12 grams of protein.4

Has anyone tried Cool Whey ice cream?2

I want to try and find a low calorie, tasty bread. There is lots of options if you are in the US but here? Anything besides Weight Watchers that we can buy? And I am not talking about two slices at 50g total for a serving. Cause almost any bread can be that. I am talking about proper serving.
I don't eat very much bread but I keep in my freezer Sliver Hills Little Big Bread 110 calories for 2 slices (43g)
It's not too bad a little on the small side and my teen boy had zero complaints. Costco had it in 2 packs3 -
Mad Mexican brand Black Bean dip, guacamole and pico di gallo... AMAZING! Canada's Own Chicken Noodle Soup, Cook's 17 soups. Little Big Bread. PC Skyr, plain... my absolute favourite, and Liberte brand greek yogurt. E.D. Smith Sugar free maple syrup. Nature's Path frozen waffles. Love Grown Foods Oat, Chia, flax, quinoa blend... way way better than plain oats. Love Grown Food Power O's. Simply Protein Whey Bar Mint chocolate or maple pecan flavour.1

Trying these tomorrow, I have a hard time believing I'll hate chicken penne alfredo with 50g protein for less than 400 but I'll keep you guys posted lol

I also love PC skyr. Even better now that it's available in single serve containers. The PC Greek yogurt however, had an aftertaste and off flavour to me.0

Keep 'em coming! This is going to be on my next shopping list. I did not know about the 'potato bread' at all!
Canadian living in Texas. Can you send me a hundred cases of these? So good!

I'm not low carb but I have a Low Carb Grocery 20 minute walk from my apartment. I steal their sugar free goodies (not literally, I pay lol) to save on calories. What luck!

Kraft natty pb with sea salt1

Not new, but I really like Chapman's Canadian Collection ice cream bars. There are several different flavours.

Proto Pasta mini review: it was more rubbery than regular pasta and took 20 minutes to cook but came in pre-measured 50g packages and with 30g protein. I can not complain about the slightly off texture. I made this recipe with vegetables, 105g of chicken and a couple laughing cow light cheese wedges and 15g Parmesan on top. I'd buy this again but it wasn't GREAT... that said, 60g of protein in 465 cals is a win in my book!!

Everyone's already co-oped the food trades. I'll never see my beloved, only in America foods again. My family sucks for sending food even when I offer to pay them back. Still waiting for oysters crackers from my sister. It's been 2 years.0

It's summer! Time for "small iced coffee with milk, no base" season at Timmy's. A buck ten and I'm in love. It's only about 20 calories for a small when you get it no base (add some splenda if you really need sweet).5

Just had one of these, sooo good! Way better than skinny cow! Tastes like ice cream not yoghurt.

What is "no base"?0 -

The "base" is the sugar syrup that is standard in the recipe. A small, if you just walk in and order it as-is, has 120 calories with base and cream. Personally, I don't like sweet coffee, so leaving out the base and downgrading from cream to milk is still delicious.
You can also order iced capps with milk or chocolate milk instead of cream. Saves quite a few calories.2 -
Huh. I don't like my hot coffee sweetened either. Even though they closed all our local Timmy's this is good to know!0
