So Halo Top is out, but would love for Canadians to share some products that caught their eye that we can actually buy. I found a yummy BBQ sauce for 10 cals/2tbs called Guy's Award Winning BBQ sauce which I am not putting on all my chicken, just in time for bbq season! Still waiting impatiently on Halo Top lol

Excited for this thread! Looked SO hard for Halo Top in Canada - its just not a thing...My faves are SmartCakes (38 cal.) & Del Monte No Sugar Added popsicles (45 cal.). Samaseal Teriyaki sauce is also 10 cal., no sugar and DELICIOUS.8

Tell me more about smart cakes!4

I like the Kirkland Protein Bars.
Sweet Leaf Stevia - I got a bottle of drops at Superstore, and I'm reasonably happy with them.
SmartFood Popcorn in Jalapeno Cheddar and Caramel/Chocolate: I do make my own popcorn, but the seasoning on this sticks in a magical way I can't accomplish at home.10 -
Cheecha Puffs....they are awesome. Costco was selling them on a monthly basis before but not lately...found out that you can get them at Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond and some health food stores (smaller bags and more cost) but...they are an awesome lower calorie chip replacement. (I'm in Barrie, ON for context) and Wholly Guacamole in 100 cal cups....so awesome.4

Love Superstore's Yukon Gold potato bread!
Unfortunately they don't have it all the time - hit & miss!1 -
Might be a US thing as well, but I tried a Dr. Oetker - Ristorante Ultra Thin Capicollo pizza from Save-On and the whole thing is 680 calories and pretty good. They were on sale when I first tried them 3 for $10. Now they are $6 each, but still not a bad price.

Yay! A Canadian thread!
Dollarama has been selling the Starburst sugar free drink flavouring, $1.25 for a pack of 6. I find 1/2 the packet sufficient even in a can of club soda. They taste exactly like a starburst without the calories.14 -
I like the Pc greek yogurt frozen bars . 100 calories , less than 3 grams of fat and 5 grams of protein14

I love the Ristorante pizzas and usually price match them at Walmart for 2.99 but mine are all 900 calories plus. Need to look and see if we have the ultra thin!6 -
I am Canadian but I got nothing to add.
Keep 'em coming! This is going to be on my next shopping list. I did not know about the 'potato bread' at all!3 -
Schwatz's Montreal smoked meat and Bergeron cheese are a few of my guilty pleasures!!! I also love Oka cheese!!!6
-
Nothing to add too but loving this!2

PC frozen smoothie bars....80-100 cals depending on the flavour. My favourite is the Chocolate Peanut butter fudge.
Editing to add Skinny Grape wine and coolers...4 -
I found a box of SimplyProtein Bars at Costco. (~150 calories with ~15 g of protein, depending on flavour). They also have a good selection of SimplyProtein bars and chips at Bulk Barn. (They are expensive there, but I bought one of each to try different flavours before I order them from the website.)3

I bought some Cauliflower Snow at Costco..... Way less mess then making my own at a good price.7

Soul sister...........
Costco sells frozen mini chicken and cilantro wontons from the freezer section (I guess thats obvious) that are low in calories and can be nuked in about a minute or two and are a good snack. They also carry a brand of frozen French Onion soup that is really delish but I cant remember the name of it - comes in a 6 pack, preps in the oven. Hubs and I find it really filling.
I love Special K cracker chips in all the flavours - tastes like chips to me but I can more easily moderate these - and Pop chips too.
Chapmans makes frozen yogurt in wonderful flavours that are low in calorie - I am not an ice cream fan, so really the conversations about Halo Top dont excite me, but these froyos are really tasty for only about 90 - 100 cals.
I cook a lot of meals at home and rely on the LooneySpoons cookbooks - they give you all the calorie counts and nutritional info, weights and measures in grams, easy to find ingredients (nothing too exotic - nothing I havent been able to find in local grocery stores like Loblaws or Metro) and offer a wide variety of recipes to choose from including vegetarian, asian, mexican etc.
Regarding cauliflower "mess" - I found that putting a tea towel around the food processor while I grated the cauliflower really cut down on the mess. I could then use the same towel to wring out the liquid. I dont like to pay for convenience foods when there is a quick, inexpensive alternative.

Oh, and the all-day McDonald's breakfast is pretty great. I've had an Egg McMuffin for lunch (sometimes with a salad, sometimes with a small fries) a few times lately. I've got little kids. They love the playground. I find myself at McD's more than I'd like. 290 calories for a sandwich that I like works for me.9

Speaking of McD's. Have they added a calorie count to their menus across the country? I know it is law in Ontario, but I noticed it on the menu board this weekend in BC.4
-
I don't live in Canada...but if I did...
I would eat Kit Kat 70 Dark bars ALL...DAY...LONG.
They seem to have them in every gas station/airport/grocery store in Canada...I don't know why I can't find them in the U.S. (although that's probably a good thing for me).7 -

My daughter lives in California now, every time I go to visit there's a long list of favourite sweets (and other oddball goodies) to bring along to keep her going another few months! I'll trade you some Kit Kats for a halo top ice cream!!

Anyone been to one of those "make your own burgers" McD's? They're great!

So Delicious coconut ice cream is to die for and for 110cal / 125ml is pretty good treat at RCSS.
PC Skyr is a weekly buy for me at RCSS.
Joseph's low carb flat breads, pitas, lavash are always on the list, Nutrition House a local health food store or online.
Metro has Promise GF bagels which are huge and 130cal each.
Would help other if you post where to buy this stuff you speak of haha
These are such good finds, I haven't been to RCSS in a while, been low renting at No Frills lol4 -

Dont use SKYR in the protein cheesecake. It will come out with weird very very thick texture. Tried it.
Oh damn! Thanks for the heads up!
I'll just nom it as it is.1 -

"Low rent" No Frills (where I live) has PC Skyr.1 -
I'm a NYer, but I'm following this closely because we have a trip to Toronto planned this summer to catch a Yankees/Blue Jays game. Thanks to this thread we will also be shopping for the Kit Kat 70 Dark, Cheecha Puffs and Oka cheese. At minimum. Ain't no shame in my food game!3

I've never seen it at mine, are you in Ontario?1 -
Another Canadian here. Our Oreos are lower in calories than American ones, so while we might not have all the cool flavours that Americans' have, we can eat two for 110 calories VS two for 150 calories in the USA. Ha sorry that's all I can contribute, but watching this thread and getting some good ideas.9
