Every single fat burner on the market either doesn't work at all, or is dangerous for you. Stay away from them, put in the work if you want the results.12

Nothing that is legal works, and nothing that works is legal. That is all you need to know.9

Try caffeine.4
-
Cup of coffee or two and walking shoes.9

I'm in the medical field so I'm very familiar with coffee and being on my feet lol0

I agree, do not waste u money buying "weightloss & fat burner tablets" they do not work!
Healthy eating and exercise is best, good luck0 -

Don't waste your money. All these claims are exaggerated and they make up of practically all fat burners are: a stimulant and an appetite suppressant. Neither really contribute to "burning fat". Fat is burned at rest exclusively and stored fat if you're in a moderate calorie deficit.

Your wallet will get lighter. That's the only weight loss benefit you'll see from them.6 -
One of the best fat burners is... sex. Plus it's all natural.1

If you're in the medical field, then you should know that the fat burners which claim to help burn fat is just wishful thinking..
These companies prey on the overweight, desperate and gullible, and when they lose weight they credit the magical pills instead of the hard work and calorie deficit that is the true reason they lost weight.

Thank you very much for sharing your expierences with fat burners. I know there isn't some magic pill to make the fat melt off. But, when they were busy teaching me how to properly apply a tourniquet to marines leg as they bleed out, my instructors must've missed pharmacology. I don't mean this to be disrespecting you in any way so please don't take it as such. I hope you do have a nice day and keep up your hard work.0 -

You need to file a complaint with the educational authority. Pharmacology is important.1 -

Haha Touche'
Seriously, I have tried:
Plexus
Garcinia Cambogia
Green coffee bean extract
Green tea extract
Raspberry Keytones
CLA
Skinny Fibre
Some carb blocker tablet that had horrific toileting accidents. They went in the trash 2 days after i bought them.
Hydroxycut- Very briefly, that stuff is horrible.
And a few more that i cant remember the name of.
I'm so embarrassed to admit that i fell for the hype these products promised. But if i can help someone not make the same mistakes i did, then i will swallow my pride and face the public shame.
You know what did work? Myfitnesspal. When i came here and started counting calories and logging them, is when i finally started losing weight.
Bonus is that it's free and simple to use.

Have you looked into fat and carb binders. We have them here in the UK and they work except have some horrible side effects to maybe make you think twice about taking them0

Hey, how about Apple Cider Vinegar? I hear it's a fat-burner

I have been having good results maintaining and adding muscle with CLA. I think it is better for muscle maintenance and growth than fat loss.0

The science around CLA pretty much shows that it's another overhyped snake oil. Plenty of research here (with studies annotated): https://examine.com/supplements/conjugated-linoleic-acid/
Editor's summary of the science:CLA appears to be a good research molecule, since there is a lot of evidence after human ingestion and it was one of the first of its mechanisms (PPARa / PPARy modulator) to be used.
A pretty poor fat burner, and even more unreliable than it is bad at burning fat. It might make you lose enough fat to compensate for that cookie you had once.
It has no astounding other affects on health or anything, it just seems to be quite an overhyped and uneventful molecule(s)0 -
it sure sounds like there are no supplements that will help you drop some body fat , from what every body says on this forum, can someone explain how some men will get down to sub 6% body fat or for women 13 to 15% body fat, getting ready for a show , if people think that diet alone will get you that lean, they need to do more research now i under stand not every body wants to get that lean, but something has to be working to aid them to get that lean for a show ,0

Not the way I do it.
Le rawr.
Okay, so anyway, any time I've tried fat burners, instead of being just starving I was starving and wired. I threw food into my face with shaking hands, that was about the only difference. Oh, plus I was poorer.
You really need to change your habits entirely...that really is the only way.2 -

LOL. LOLOL. If you think pro bodybuilders are using legally obtainable over-the-counter diet aids for pre-contest prep, you're highly, highly mistaken.
But yes - in the case of natural bodybuilders (who truly are natural), diet will get you that lean. You just have no idea how insanely regimented, extreme and meticulous that diet is, or the training they do along with the diet. There's a reason (several reasons, actually) that they can't maintain that level of leanness for very long. If you think they're all taking some bogus Dr. Oz "fat burner" from the local GNC to get that ripped, maybe you need to do more research. It's also worth knowing that they don't come waddling into pre-contest prep as a fat, out-of-shape Average Joe. Most of them are already 10% or less bodyfat before they even begin contest prep, and probably never go above 15% BF the whole rest of the year.2 -

There is a lot of research out there and the results are inconsistent. I won't bother listing a bunch of links but I did a bunch of research before starting it and am very happy with my results.
