How often do you log your weight?

I need to check out happy scales app!
Im also weighing daily so I can quickly find out what i did wrong the previous day so I can correct
Like others have said, one day's change doesn't give anything to correct. Most people will fluctuate up to 4-5 pounds in a day. As a male with no TOM, that happens to me. You really won't have enough data from a scale for at least 4-6 weeks to make an informed decision to correct anything. Your fluctuations in a day can be twice as big or more than your fat loss in a week. The scale could very easily show you with 3 pound gain, while you lost 2 pounds of fat - masking your loss. It could also show a 5 pound loss with 2 of those pounds being fat - thereby exaggerating your loss. All due to fluid retention and fluctuations.
That's why trend and time matter. Just say no to decisions based on very limited data and do the process right. Then you'll get the squiggly mostly downward graph that would apply to just about everyone who does the process right.3 -

Yes. For Android. Last I checked, Happy Scale doesn't run on Android.0 -
I weigh daily most of the time but I only record my losses in mfp.0

Even if you are up a few ounces or even a pound or two the next day, that doesn't mean you didn't anything wrong. I have some days where I'm up 2 or 3 lbs and then down the next couple days. Weight loss is not linear- that's why it's fun to get the app and watch that trend!
I ended up having to download Libra for Android0 -
I log every day.1

I'm adding my chart, for a female comparison. The spike starting 04/09 was me being sick. I switch between maintenance and 0.5 lb/week loss, depending on how my cycle affects my appetite.

Three years of daily weigh-ins, anyone? I'm a tracking nerd.

Every Monday morning. Once I reach goal weight, it will be daily. I don't plan on tracking at this point (very tired of it), but obviously want to keep tabs on things so that if I go up more than 2 lbs., I can nip it in the bud.3

I try not to weigh too much. Once a week or less. If I have a bad weigh in day it kinda ruins my mood. I would rather weigh less and be pleasantly surprised. Than not see the number moving.0

I also weigh daily every morning after I have gone to the bathroom (number 1 and 2, especially 2 makes a difference lol) and before I eat anything. I use the Libra app to monitor my fluctuations and only log in MFP when I've reached a new lowest weight. Don't be discouraged if you see weight gain 1 or 2 days, it's normal. However I had one week where I didn't see any change for the whole week and it was definitely caused by eating bad. Just made me realize how important it is to stay on track. Now I'm steadily losing0

Lol! I've weighted myself before and after going and I swear there was almost pound difference. Maybe that TMI... but it's true haha1 -

I log once I see the same weight on the scale consecutively 2 days in a row, both on here and then on fitbit app...but it's like if I don't see the same weight on the scale at least twice the first low number was just a dream and never happened0

I get on the scale usually once a day, minimum. But the only time that gets logged Sunday AM after using the washroom.0

I used to weigh myself every day, only log on Monday. But with a Fitbit Aria if I get on the scale it is automatically logged so that strategy is out the window. New strategy is to weigh and log a few times a week.0

I have found that I can get strangely obsessive if I weigh daily. I find that if I see zero change, I feel discouraged and I don't want that. My solution? "Weigh Day Sundays," as I like to call them. *IF* I am feeling particularly confident, I will weigh on Wednesdays as a spot check, but I try to refrain more than that.1

Only when I like what the scale's got to say.0

Think Happy Scale for Android.
I found a Withings scale on a clearance table, so I weigh daily and it gets update here, Trendweight, Garmin without me typing in anything.
Sunday mornings I take measurements. I then punch them into BF calculators to get an idea on my BF% and what's going on. I know they are not accurate, but I'm hoping they trend well. Just over 6 weeks doing this.
Everything goes into Excel.0 -
Every morning. And very aware that my weight can fluctuate up and down dramatically depending on what I ate the prior day. A bad happy hour can bloat me up 3+ pounds the next morning. But a good day of water and running can take it right back off.0

Every time it drops... so about every week. Two weeks in and losing 2.5lb per week.0
