Forget general tips, motivation and bandwagons. Weight loss is simple, but you have to take it seriously, like job seriously or raising kids seriously. Read the stickies.0

Raising kids people take seriously? Oh crud.
Need to want it; you'll hear it from the throngs of MFP folks. Log accurately, beware get slim quick schemes, etc. etc. but in the end... none of it matters if you don't want it bad enough.1 -
Buy a food scale. Use it. Stay within your calories this site gave you.1
