walk-off, sure no problem
a heated history between pitcher and hitter, again, no problem
the hitter's team is up 5 runs in the 8th inning and the batter hits one out with the bases empty, give me a break

I never cared. If you hit a home run, it's polite to give the bat to the bat boy and saunter around the bases. Or whatever.0

That bat-flip by Bautista was the perfect example of a lot of emotion after a long, crazy inning. I would defend that one down to the ground.
But if the stakes are not high, as in Motorsheen's example, than yeah, gimme a break.1 -

I'm a purist, so that should answer the question about the bat flip. In my world, a bat flip would be met with some chin music.0

They take bat flipping to the extreme in the Korean league.
Doesn't even need to be home run lol...
