Just looking for a little advice, been going the gym about 8 months now have managed to lose 3 stone.
I've gained about 8lb of muscle since which am happy with. However I've still got a bit of a muffin top goin on around the waist (although have gone from 38 waist to 34!! )
Just started building in a hiit session for 15 mins each morning 5 days a week hoping to start working my core does this sound right??

Try Russian twists with a weight0

You just need to keep going. Belly fat is often the last to go. Working your core is fine, but it won't specifically burn belly fat.4

I would only do HIIT 2-3x a week, but I'd at least walk 30-40min a day regardless, even if it's just 10-15 min after each meal as well as some quality time under the barbell a few times a week.
Regarding weight loss, calorie deficit through diet and activity. There is no such thing as spot reduction.0
