    Total Weight lost: 30 lbs
Time it took to lose: came off in stages over several years (with some unfortunate yoyo'ing in there)
How long in maintenance: Since March 8. I "maintained" within 5 lbs of goal for about a year before this.
    Maintenance weight range: 128-133

Moving average end of January: 132.8
Moving average end of February: 133.3
Moving average end of March: 132.1
Moving average end of April: 130.8

    Week of...
    3rd April : 131.0
10th April : 133.4 (bounced up one day thanks to TOM)
    17th April :130.8
24th April : 130.8 (trend weight is now also down to 130.8)
    1st May: 130.2
8th May: 134.4 (Way up after my birthday weekend! I was 128.8 on Thursday morning.)

Success/struggles of the week: Well, the birthday indulgences were planned. Hopefully it will drop back off fairly quickly though TOM is due any day now so that might delay things a little.

A struggle was with stamina. I have a 5K on Saturday and my running stamina last week was a lot lower than usual. I had to cut a few of my runs in half. I've been struggling for a few weeks now with both strength and stamina and feeling like I take a lot longer to recover. Not sure what that's about.

    8th May: 124.8
    15th May:

Success/struggles of the week: I had a really good week. I think I am finally maintaining. My weight fluctuated as usual, but my trendweight stayed at 125.3 all week and only went up to 125.5 over the weekend. I am going to try to just keep an eye on that trend and hope that it stays the same.

Success/struggles of the week: increased my calories by ab 200 and down two lbs in a week. New to maintenance. I was hoping to maintain at 140 but see there is a range so I decided to try and maintain between 135 and 140. I was scared of maintenance and think it will be hard but I know I can do it! Happy to find this thread

@macchiatto I, too, have struggled with stamina in running the past few weeks. Stick with it. I pushed through whatever it was - spring?, time change? in a rut? Whatever, I seem to be back on track and know you will be as well.

That's encouraging; thanks! Glad you're back on track!

Success/struggles of the week: So - it's official - I've struggled again this week so I'm going back to logging all of my calories, for the time being at least! I refuse to see this as a failure though.... instead I'm going to use the opportunity to cut back to a small deficit and finally get back down to the lower end of my maintenance range (I've been saying I would do that since Christmas!!). So good timing really - summer bikini here we come!

How I lost it: My story
How long in maintenance : I declared it at 140 in January 2016, but that was too high for a petite lady. Redeclared it 4/14/17.
Maintenance weight range: Would like to stay under 125 at morning weigh-in.
Ongoing struggle: I still need to learn to trust my body cues, be content with eating just enough, and stop asking food to be more than just fuel. Life after work is just filled with getting steps and eating food to fill my evening. Really need to make peace with having fewer cals to work with. Contentment and an attitude of gratitude (and maybe a hobby) are the order of the day. (Update: I am taking a class in sign language for work, but I think I might go further with it than just the basics that my job requires.)

    January avg weight: 126.8lbs
    February avg weight: 126.1lbs
    March avg weight: 124.6lbs
    April avg weight: 122.9lbs

    Week of...
    28th April: 123.1lbs
    1st May: 123.9lbs
    8th May: 123.6lbs
    15th May:
    22nd May:
    29th May:

Success of the week: Again, chose the grocery store over a restaurant.

Challenges of the week: Weight has started to drop again since I dialed my cals back.(I was enjoying those extra cals so much, too!) I expect it is mostly a result of less waste and sodium. Will see how things look next month. Am definitely noticing how my Charge HR picks up wrist motions, esp when signing. Have started removing it when studying for class!

Hi there! I am a couple pounds away from maintenance but thought I would get a jump start and start practicing.

    Name: Claudette
    Age: 37
    Height: 5'2"
Total Weight lost: about 15 pounds although this is about the third time I'm losing it!
Time it took to lose: about 5 months
How long in maintenance: almost there
    Maintenance weight range: 118-122
but would like to lower this range eventually.

Average weight recorded from January: 129
Average weight recorded from February: 126
Average weight recorded from March: 124
    Average weight recorded from April:122

    Week of...

    8th May: 121.6

Success/struggles of the week: I’m scared of gaining the weight back and also scared of maintenance as I’ve never maintained a loss. Even though it isn’t much weight it feels like a ton, especially when I’m running. And being that I’m petite it is so hard to lose! In the past I’ve gained weight back because of deciding to not track and arguing to myself that I don’t want to count calories forever. What’s different this time? I’ve decided I don’t gain and lose the same weight over and over again...forever! So now I am taking this whole thing much more seriously and have had maintenance on the brain from the start.

I’m going on vacation for a few days Memorial Day weekend and decided to eat at maintenance. I’d be thrilled to come back to no weight gain!

    Thanks for starting this thread!

@NicholeAckerman I, too, had trouble finding a way to make maintenance work. I kept losing weight for several months. I finally stopped worrying about it and eventually settled into my "me" weight. I bounce around now between the same 3 or 4 pounds. I feel good and my clothes fit. Best wishes.
