05/23: 138.6 ( I planned to workout yesterday, didn't happen. I will have to try again today)

    05/24: 137.4
    - success: did not eat my daughter's leftovers from all her meals which I usually do. Also kept my calories under control.
    - Plan: to drink more water.
    - No work out yet

    05/25: 138
Think I am just fluctuating, it's okay.
    Success: ate good. No junk
Fail: my snack was almost a meal. Ate extra calories than planned but I was hungryyyy

    5/22 - End/start weight 137.0

    5/23 - 136.8
It has begun. Haven't maintained under this weight in 3 years. Feeling anxious.
    5/24 - 135.8
I don't trust this. My scale was spazzing out.
    5/25 - 136.2
had another scale spasm but trust this more. Also my morning weight. I wasn't going to make it home in the afternoon before eating a meal to see weight after finishing up burning last night dinner calories.

5/23 247.8 1 month into my new lifestyle and still in the zone.
5/24 248.8 Not discouraged. I ate a high sodium dinner and didn't drink nearly enough water yesterday. We'll see
    what tomorrow brings.
5/25 249 Ugh! Ok, today I'm discouraged. I consistently stay near my calorie goal (1200). I'm not exercising yet, but I am trying to move more.

Don't give up! Try playing with the times you eat most of your calories, what type of foods you get most of your calories from, etc, drink LOTS OF WATER:)

Well I haven't tried this one before. I've been losing slowly, but surely. Thanks for the motivation!

    Day Weight Comments

    05/23: 185.4
05/24: 185.6 Scale didn't go down as I had hoped. I ate well and took a long walk. Also had Chipotle salad for lunch (no dressing), so probably too much sodium. Hopefully better tomorrow. Will take another walk today. Sorry for the extra posting. I was having trouble with the last one.
05/25: 185.2 Well, I'm back to what I was 5 days ago. At least it's the right direction. I've eating within my allotment, and trying to exercise everyday. Have a good day!

05/24 245.8 Just started back after gaining and losing for many years. I really think this is going to help me. I haven’t used the community boards much. Is there a way to edit past posts instead of a new post everyday?
05/25 No weigh in. On a short vacation so I didn’t get to post yesterday or weigh in this morning. No scale. I only weigh first thing in the morning because my weight seems to go up and down during the day.

    * Because I'm not using electronic scales its hard to be exact with small movements, so I'm only using increments of 1/4 kg

05/24 176.8-- Maybe I finally lost the water weight after eating movie theater popcorn!! Nice surprise this AM.
05/25 180.6-- My car broke down and we ordered out-- Chinese food. I stayed within calorie limits so I'm sure that this is just water weight... I hope!! My menstrual cycle just started so that probably has something to do with it.

    Starting weight (5/22): 204

05/23: 204. I’m not expecting to lose weight quickly at this point, so I’m just trying to stay below maintenance every day and see what happens. I accomplished that today.
05/24: 204. I ate more calories than planned, but I attempted to make up for it by doing extra exercise. Not a bad day overall.
    05/25: 203.5

Work commitments yesterday meant I didn't get to the gym as I usually would. Managed to eat well for the most part and stuck to my calories. Going to get in some upper body weights and a swim this evening as my knee is still bugging me. I would really really like to stop losing this same kilo every single week!! Trying to make a plan for the weekend as I have a bad habit of throwing away all my hard work after 5pm on a Friday. Suggestions very welcome :)

I have this exact same problem - I'm reasonably good all week, then blow it on the weekend. I now try to create a bit more of a calorie deficit during the week, so that I can allow myself more wriggle room on the weekend. Every now and again I get fed up of spending all week losing the few pounds I gain each weekend and put the effort in to have a really good weekend too, which does help to address the balance. It's tough, isn't it!

I do this weekend sabotage too. Sounds kind of lame, but let's make a pact to all stay within calorie limits this weekend

I'm in! I can definitely manage that for just one weekend (I hope)! ;)

    05/23 - 141.8 (a bit too close for comfort!)
    05/24 -140.8 (5k run yesterday)
05/25 - 140.0 (weight training day yesterday. Nice surprising drop again this morning - although I suspect this is mostly water weight. I decided to concentrate on getting enough protein this week - something I'm not very good at usually. I've done really well so far, but, in order to keep within my calorie total, it's been at the expense of carbs - I read somewhere that 1g of carbs binds to 2g of water, so that'll be why the sudden drop in weight! (It does make you wonder what our 'bodyweight' actually ever is really?!) I've already had enough of tuna, chicken and eggs though - they're making me feel so full! And so thirsty! Not sure I'd be able to keep this up long term.
05/26 -139.2 (YAY! - finally broke through the 140 barrier! Really pleased with this. Determined to keep it up this weekend. Have a good one everyone)
