05/23. 251.6 got back from my sister's graduation weekend celebration and weight is about 3 lbs up. Im excited to get back to a routine of exercise and calorie deficits! Have 61.6 lbs to lose to my first re-evaluation of health metrics and im hoping to be there by my birthday next March. On June 1st, I'd like to be at 247.6. may be too ambitious but im hoping to lose some water weight...we'll see!
05/24 249.2 Yay, weight is coming back off from sister's graduation. Going to be super active today and maintain a strong calorie deficit.
05/25 249.0 Have not had a good workout session since I got back from the family festivities. Will get in a good session today. Despite that, I'm happy for the downward trend.

05/23: 138.6 ( I planned to workout yesterday, didn't happen. I will have to try again today)
05/24: 137.4
- success: did not eat my daughter's leftovers from all her meals which I usually do. Also kept my calories under control.
- Plan: to drink more water.
- No work out yet
05/25: 138
Think I am just fluctuating, it's okay.
Success: ate good. No junk
Fail: my snack was almost a meal. Ate extra calories than planned but I was hungryyyy2 -
Just finished eating leftover pizza for breakfast. My goals over the next 10 days are to - a. go to the gym 3 times a week b. check into MFP every day.
05/23 - 142 Just finished eating leftover pizza for breakfast. Plan to eat a healthy lunch and dinner; go to yoga in the evening and a quick circuit training at the gym.
05/24 - 138 I must have been bloated yesterday. This isn't good news because I know I am losing muscle and I haven't been very active because I broke my toe. I know this isn't an excuse because there are plenty of exercises I can do with my foot in a boot. I did go to the gym but not yoga and instead went for a long walk. I ate healthily the rest of the day.
"Motivation helps you get going, changing habits gets you there."
05/25 - 140 This is great! I can feel that just going to the gym 2 times already my body is remembering what it's like to be strong again - I definitely feel achy as well. I treated myself a little more than necessary yesterday but I'm not beating myself up about and I'm making healthy choices today. Yoga tonight!

5/23 247.8 1 month into my new lifestyle and still in the zone.
5/24 248.8 Not discouraged. I ate a high sodium dinner and didn't drink nearly enough water yesterday. We'll see
what tomorrow brings.
5/25 249 Ugh! Ok, today I'm discouraged. I consistently stay near my calorie goal (1200). I'm not exercising yet, but I am trying to move more.

05/24 - 132.4 - did a HIIT workout yesterday morning and then ate well and within my calorie goal. Feeling good today. Goal is to go for a 5km run tonight.
05/25 - 132.0 - Ate pretty well, just 20 calories over my limit. My fiance wanted to go for a walk so we walked 5km instead of me going for a run.

I'll give this a go. A little public accountability is not a bad thing at all. As it happens I do weigh myself every day (almost) and take measurements on Mondays. My scale is a digital one that logs to the half pound.
When I came back to MFP 7 weeks ago I weighed 300 lbs. I've weighed myself almost every day, taken measurements every Monday, and recorded my food & exercise every day. I'm also keeping track of days since I last had alcohol, since I know only too well that drinking (besides being empty calories) always leads to eating that has nothing to do with being hungry.
Day Weight Comments
05/22 288.5 lbs Weight has been "flat" for a couple of weeks and I need to jump-start moving the scale in the right direction again.
05/23 288.5 lbs No change. I put a beady eye on the excess carbs
05/24 288 lbs Nice to see a weight loss. Also met my current daily walking goal and controlled my carbs
05/25 287.5 ibs More weight loss. Also met my current daily walking goal (just hit it) and controlled my carbs, though I was concerned when we had pot roast for dinner as I ate potatoes. I avoided the temptation of the garlic bread with dinner, and the salt and vinegar potato chips my sons left out on the kitchen counter.

05/23: 185.4
05/24: 185.6 Scale didn't go down as I had hoped. I ate well and took a long walk. Also had Chipotle salad for lunch (no dressing), so probably too much sodium. Hopefully better tomorrow. Will take another walk today. Sorry for the extra posting. I was having trouble with the last one.
05/25: 185.2 Well, I'm back to what I was 5 days ago. At least it's the right direction. I've eating within my allotment, and trying to exercise everyday. Have a good day!

I've been changing my eating habits and increasing exercise over the past 2 months and have dropped 21 lbs. However, just this month have I really gained focus and am efficiently losing weight. I monitor my calories on MFP and hit the treadmill every day after work with weights 3 days a week in the morning as well. I too am experimenting with intermittent fasting and am on a 16:8 schedule right now. I'm feeling great and the scale is showing it. Let's do this!
Day Weight Comments
05/23: 313.0 - Expected a good drop from yesterday (1.5 lbs lost) and very pleased.
05/24: 310.6 - Hoped for another good loss and saw one! I stay tremendously hydrated throughout the day but realize some of this is water because of how much I'm sweating during my workouts. Either way, very pleased.
05/25: 309.8 - Thought I'd see more off after a good day of exercise and meeting my calorie goal, but anything down is in the right direction!

05/25 No weigh in. On a short vacation so I didn’t get to post yesterday or weigh in this morning. No scale. I only weigh first thing in the morning because my weight seems to go up and down during the day.

I weigh myself daily for all the reasons you mentioned in your post. It keeps me on track and lets me know when I need to hunker down the next day. My friend thought I was obessed but I was like it helps me. I know our weight fluctuates all throughout the day and that doesn't bother me. I just want to make sure I stay on track and weighing daily helps me.
I'm in for this challenge. I'm trying to lose slower or maintain so here's to hoping I'm down a lb or stay where I'm at.

05/23 - 141.8 (a bit too close for comfort!)
05/24 -140.8 (5k run yesterday)
05/25 - 140.0 (weight training day yesterday. Nice surprising drop again this morning - although I suspect this is mostly water weight. I decided to concentrate on getting enough protein this week - something I'm not very good at usually. I've done really well so far, but, in order to keep within my calorie total, it's been at the expense of carbs - I read somewhere that 1g of carbs binds to 2g of water, so that'll be why the sudden drop in weight! (It does make you wonder what our 'bodyweight' actually ever is really?!) I've already had enough of tuna, chicken and eggs though - they're making me feel so full! And so thirsty! Not sure I'd be able to keep this up long term.
05/26 -139.2 (YAY! - finally broke through the 140 barrier! Really pleased with this. Determined to keep it up this weekend. Have a good one everyone)

05/23 51.7kg one good thing abouth weighing myself every day is that I can correct my mistakes quickly, yesterday morning I was 52.7kg after drinking and going to restaurant at the weekend. Yesterday I tried to eat well, went to the gym and all the excess weekend weight came off! Yay!
