Hi, everyone!
I've been in a ketogenic diet since May 10, and so far, I've lost 10 pounds worth this way of eating. Is there anyone here doing this same lifestyle? I'm very new to this app, so please feel free to add me.

Hi! I just started eating keto, or at least trying to get myself off complex carbs. I've been doing this for about a week! Some slip ups, but it's been great. Great work with your loss!2

Hi Everyone...I've been on LC for a few years now (to stabilize blood sugar.. T2 diabetes runs in my family and my blood sugar had been creeping up). Managed to stabilize my blood sugars but not reduce them as much as I would like. And, my weight stabilized and my energy shot up, but because my carbs were *very* low carb and my protein intake has been high, my weight wasn't really going down. However, my triglycerides plummeted (from being in the 100s to 66). Now, I'm getting serious about keto and am measuring blood ketones. Weight has started to drop and fasting blood sugars have been lower as well...I know this is the right way to eat for me. And, since I have a lot of weight to lose and am pretty much guaranteed to get a diabetes diagnosis, if I don't do this, I'm absolutely committed now ....
For those who have struggled with the mindset shift/social challenges of this, I'm finding that EFT tapping helps a lot. I've used it to help change how influenced I sometimes felt socially around food.
Wishing everyone the best! (And, feel free to add me as a friend; I am just getting started here.)5 -

Your electrolytes might be off. Try drinking pickle juice or broth. You need to up your sodium/potassium intake.
For sweets, I usually get a Premier Protein shake or eat a quest bar. The net carbs are real low on those.1 -
I have been doing keto for a little over two weeks and it is going great so fat. At least 14 pounds of mostly water weight down. I have a ton more energy and am just feeling better already.
*I made a typo in my first sentence but am leaving it because it is appropriate. XD5 -
