    Wanting to lose about 33kg. Down 4.9kg so far. That will only just put me in the healthy bmi range (68kg)

    Right now I'm morbidly obese weighing in at 490 pounds. My goal weight is a healthy 200 pounds. That means that I want to lose 290 pounds.

    My goal is 130. I started at 254 (Female, 5'3", 45 years old). It's 10lbs into a healthy BMI. Actually, when I hit about 145, I'll probably talk to my doctor about a good place to stop. I've been overweight since I was a kid and I'm not entirely sure where my ideal weight falls within the 107–140 range that https://www.rush.edu/health-wellness/quick-guides/what-is-a-healthy-weight gives me.

    As of Sunday, I was 193.2, so... so far, so good.

    Total about 34 to 37 pounds until I can reassess at around 135 lbs. I've never worked out before or been overweight, so although I used to weigh 115 to 124lbs on average...I'm working on gaining a lot of overall muscle through tons of exercise. And its all new to my body (the dieting and exercising). So I'm set at 134lbs for now. I started at 172 lbs March 15th and am at 150lbs today.

    My first goal is to lose 65lbs, of which I have already lost between 20-25lbs. I plan to lose most of that through changes in eating habits. My second goal is to lose an additional 20lbs through exercise... for a total goal of 85lbs weight loss.

    125lb down and another 15-35lb to go (depends on how I feel when I get down to 150/140lb.
    And can I just say that when I started it seemed I had an impossible amount to lose, but by giving myself smaller targets, all of a sudden the end is definitely in sight.

    My original weight loss was 40 Lbs. I'm cutting winter fluff at the moment and have about 5 Lbs to go to hit my historical maintenance number...for the fun of it I'm shooting for about 10 Lbs right now...purely for vanity purposes as I would at least have a 4 pack going...but I'm fine if I just drop the 5 Lbs...still have a flat stomach and look good and fit.

    My goal is to lose 100 pounds. I have lost 34 pounds since the end of January. A 100 pound loss will put me at the high end of the healthy BMI range.

    I have lost over 80 lbs already. I have another 25 lbs to get to my first really large goal. After that, I will reevaluate and see where I'd like to be and what I still want to lose.

    Originally I wanted to lose 30 lbs. I lost about 26 and then went to maintenance. After a while I switched some things up and lost about 6 more. I'm not trying to lose right now but I wouldn't be unhappy if I lost another 7-10.

    Many of my younger clients use myfitnesspal to track their caloric consumption. Most need to lose between 50 and 200 pounds. My sense is that most commenters here do not fit that profile. For those who don't mind talking about it, what is your goal?
