Happy Sunday, everyone!
I'm late posting today, my husband and I were on the water early, fishing. I love summertime!
I am FINALLY breaking the stall. Saw some new low numbers this week including a brief flirtation with 214.8. I bounced back up, but that is my usual pattern. Dip, pop back up a bit, then inch down, and repeat. Then every couple of months or so I get stuck for a few weeks, then repeat.
There's something comforting about noticing patterns and being OK with a small gain or a stall, knowing that if I just keep doing what I'm doing, it works and things move along again.
I am making a concerted effort to drink more water. I do make sure to drink water when I'm out in the heat, but the hard part is remembering during the work day. I'm a desk jockey.
For anyone just joining us, or if you find your weight bouncing up and down, you may be interested in trying averaging. Weigh daily, or a few times a week, and calculate the average. Over time you will see a pattern. For me, even when I am stuck, a tiny loss in the average can be a real morale booster.
MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233
Average from May 22nd to May 28th: 217.3
Average from May 29th to June 4th: 217.3
Average from June 5th to June 11th: 215.7 Woohoo!
Loss in June: 1.6 lbs.
Total MFP cumulative loss: 17.3 lbs.
Ultimate goal: 180.

Weight seems to be stabilizing from all the sodium and overeating a couple weeks ago. Don't think I'm going to lose 5 lbs this month and get down to 166 so I've adjusted my June goal to 169.6 lbs which I think is doable.
I've noticed since I've been losing the weight that I get to certain numbers and it just seems harder to move the weight. Particularly when moving from one set of numbers to another (i.e. Going from 200 to the 190s and 190s to 180s etc.)
At this point I just want under 170lbs.9 -
