Do you eat pizza every week?

If you are able to fit it in your calories? I do once a week. 1 slice of fresh prepared cheese pizza at whole foods is 235 calories. I know I fit the calories into my deficit but I always feel like when eating things like pizza or a fried chicken sandwich from chick fila ( which is 440 calories) that I'm hauling my weight loss. Anyone else feel this way?

Pizza is my favorite food - so I usually get some on Friday nights. Can't wait for some more!

Do fit it into your calories? If so then it shouldn't hurt your weight loss.4

I don't eat it every week but I like to go out on weekends to nicerish restaurants so I save my calories for that... if it fits your calories and macros nothing wrong with having pizza weekly3
-
Just about. I had a couple slices of Papa Johns (the only national chain I'll eat) Hawaiian BBQ two nights ago.4

Yes, yes I do.2

Nearly every week, but it's pizza I make. Ground sirloin instead of sausage, and there isn't 3 lbs of cheese on it and using flatbread instead of thick crust.5

I go out for pizza every Friday.
I've lost about 60 out of the 80 pounds eating pizza weekly and I have been maintaining for 4 years.
I bank some calories during the week and I work for it. It's usually the only meal I don't cook myself all week.
However, I'm usually up on the scale a pound or two the next morning. It's just water weight and it goes away in a couple of days.

no way! I guess I could eat pizza if I just ate the toppings, but I haven't reconciled with that yet. No crust with tomato sauce in the world is going to fit into my 23 grams of carbs a day..2

Absolutely! I can't live without my pizza, however I've grown to love thin crust, frozen pizza so I can keep an eyeball on the calories and buy the small ones to limit myself but I do still eat from the chains just not as many slices and not as often3

I make pizza from scratch as often as I have time. At least once every two weeks, more if I can. I also make flat bread pizzas on occasion for lunch when I'm in the mood.1

Yep, every Friday night with a beer. I eat a little lighter throughout the day and it fits fine in my 1600 cals, usually7

I don't have pizza very often.. but pasta at least once or twice a week, 2-3 bowls.6

Absolutely! I do it quite regularly. It's just like any other food if I want it and can fit it in I'll have it.
I do find that I've become quite the pizza snob, though. I'll only accept very high quality, crazy fresh pie and I savor every delicious bite. I used to just inhale several slices of cheap whatever pizza and barely pay attention to it.
On a side note, I recently learned that CFA puts butter on the bun of their sandwich and if you ask them to hold it you can save several calories. Their website says it's 380 calories and I personally don't miss the butter.2 -
Yep, once a week with my kids. I work out extra just for it and don't weigh myself for a few days after.3

More than once per week. I just ate a whole frozen pizza. I was supposed to eat half. Oopz. lol. I think I still stayed at maintenance though so it's all good. I'll have a bit of a lower day tomorrow.1
-
Oh hells no. Even when I was fat I had it once per month. Pizza slices in NYC aren't 230 calories lol. And just one leaves me hungry, or wanting many more.7
-
I have it planned into my financial budget only once a month.0

Almost every week. I do a vegan style pizza from Pizza Fire every Sunday, and I have lost 20 lbs since April. I do create a very drastic calorie deficit during the week to allow for two treat meals on the weekend tho, and pizza is usually one of them. Sounds like you're doing great!1

Yup. Sunday nights.

A large frozen thin crust CPK BBQ chicken pizza is only 910 calories for the whole thing - you better believe I eat that by the pie.

Yup! Just not 4 or more slices like I used to. I eat a big salad and enjoy 1 or 2 slices every Friday.3
-
Yep I do!! I buy little frozen single serve pizzas from the supermarket which are great for lunch. About 326 calories. I'd probably get more pizza having half a large vegeterian thin crust but the little ones are good for portion control lol2

Not once a week. Once a month.
Not afraid to eat it just eating lots of other things.1 -
I have celiac disease and GF pizza is expensive so I don't eat it weekly. I do go out to eat once a week though. Yesterday was my youngest kid's birthday. We ate Chick-fil-A (where I had salad because I had chosen other things earlier in the day) and the Sweet Frog frozen yogurt (which I topped with peanuts and whipped cream.)
Depriving g myself just leads to binges.1 -
No. When I found out that my favorite pizza was 450 calories a slice, and 2 slices don't keep me full for more than 2 hours, I quit eating pizza. Frankly was never a huge fan of pizza anyway, so I really don't miss it.0

Every couple weeks normally since we don't have any decent pizza in my town and the nearest is 30 minutes away.
Its just food guilt. We get it in our heads if we eat something "not clean" we won't lose weight even if we are within our calories. Just ignore that. If your eating nutritionally dense foods/ balanced foods most of the time, who cares if you eat something a little less here and there?
two slices of my favorite pizza in the world is 750 ish calories. And I enjoy every damn bite.3 -
I did pizza every week for the first few months of my weight loss. Eventually I got tired of pizza though. Who knew that was a thing?2

I make pizza at home every Sunday night, and the gf and I split it. It's pretty big, but I've never tried to figure out how many calories it is -- I don't count calories on the weekend.1

What a bizarre question...and yes I do!!. I love pizza and while I was losing weight I used to buy a Blue Menu pizza every week and eat it as dinner. Only 640-680 calories with a super thin crust. When I finished losing weight I decided to try and make my own pizza for the first time in my life. I found Jenny Jones had started a cooking channel on YT and she had a recipe or method for making pizza in a skillet so I followed her suggestions but made the crust from whole grain flour and some added protein powder. My first version of it was huge and weight in around 1500 calories cooked in my largest skillet. I ate the whole thing but it was really too much food for one sitting. After that I split it into a medium and small, ate the medium for dinner and froze the small to eat during the week. Medium usually weighs in around 1200 calories and the small around 600. I've missed it the last couple of weeks but I hope to get back on the bandwagon tomorrow2

I usually have pizza or something similar (tonight was spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread and wine) every week.
If that slice from Whole Foods fits your calories, how would it harm your weight loss?4
