For a salad, I prefer darker greens...spring mix, spinach, etc. I do love iceberg as a topping on tacos and other foods. I also love it with bleu cheese.0

No nutrients in iceberg but if you like the taste then why not eat it? I prefer romaine or sweet lettuces myself.
Not exactly true. While it isn't as nutritionally dense as other greens, 100 grams of iceberg lettuce contains potassium, 10% of your RDA for Vitamin A, 4% of your RDA for Vitamin C, 2% of your RDA for iron, and a bit of magnesium.3 -

My OH prefers it, I don't mind it, especially for volume. I lean towards spinach when I have a choice, but iceberg is just fine and super cheap. We always have some on hand.0

Only when I am making tacos or something that needs a crunch texture like a burger. Otherwise, no. I would never eat an iceburg lettuce salad. UNLESS we're talking Ruth's Chris famous iceburg lettuce wedge salad w/ homemade blue cheese. Yum.0

I think it's nasty and never touch it. It has no taste! I eat romaine daily though. Sometimes the bags of mixed greens too.0

Seldom buy iceberg lettuce but it's good for lettuce wraps, taco toppings or filler for sandwiches/bugers. You can also add it to broth based soups.0

I prefer to mix spring mix and spinach for my salad base but my *kitten* doctor nixed raw leafy greens for awhile so I'm stuck with iceberg. It's not too bad, has a nice crunch but I prefer the taste of romaine, etc.0
