6/23 261.2 Was expecting it to be higher! Heart was crushed yesterday over a person (surprised I didn't even binge eat!), but when I remembered the goals, my goal for me strictly and no one else, my heart was like, "Not today, private!! " Needed to vent. It's the weekend, yall. Oh lort!
6/24 262.2 . . .Y'all. Today is a terrible day. Went to Golden Coral, and then had 2 and a half egg rolls. All of that dedication is waste now. I feel defeated and ashamed I let my old habits overtake me. I did not want to even post today, but it has to be done.

Well, I ate two Little Caesar's Cheese Pizza's today. I felt so guilty that I exercised so much that I burnt off all the calories and then some. We can treat ourselves sometimes can't we?2 -

You didn't do anything to get upset about!
You've got to remember 2 things:
One day is not going to make or break you. You can't lose everything in one day, and you can't gain it all back in one day either.
You're learning how to live life a new way. You can't restrict everything. You have to be able to live. You just how to learn how to make adjustments to make up for splurges or just not worry about them if they don't come up that often.
What matters is how you react today. Don't think "all my work is for nothing" and throw in the towel. And don't try to restrict to "make up for it." Just have a normal day. A new normal day of making choices that you feel good about yourself.
I'm following a keto diet. That means no "white carbs" and keep them under 20 g a day. Well guess what - I went to a Greek festival this week. Why? Because I would have kicked myself if I didn't go. And there was no way I was going to turn down baklava homemade by Greek grandmas. (Take it from me, it was devine.) I actually ate less than I expected (I went with someone who was very willing to help my diet along by 'sharing' with me. lol) It was completely utterly against a keto mindset. But you know what? Who cares! I had some baklava, I didn't binge, I didn't let it get me down, and I didn't deprive myself. I found the balance between being in control and living life. That's what we're all trying to learn how to do.
So you've had some excellent practice here. There's all kinds of things you can learn from it, but just seeing it as something to learn from rather than something to scold yourself over might be a great place to start.

I'm in again! I think I started in round 2. I've been weighing and logging every day since mid March and it has really helped to keep me on track.
SW in March - 182.4 lbs
GW - want to get to 150 and then re-evaluate from there

6/23 - 158.4lbs - back on track! I expect some of this is carry over from last weeks TOM bounce around but I"ll take it!!
6/24 - 156.6lbs - Super Whoosh! I weighed myself 6 times and moved the scale to 3 different spots before I believed it LOL...may still not believe it until I see it again tomorrow.
6/25 - 158.2 - yep...it was too good to be true...shortcake at the strawberry festival where we went picking and sushi for dinner

In going to try not to get too excited about my overnight -1.2 pounds. I had three beers after dinner and I suspect that's making me a little dehydrated. It's nice to see a number even closer to goal though!! 128 is where I'd like to be. It just gives me some wiggle room to maintain between 128-130. Of course, its the weekend now and those are always tough ...

Did well yesterday. Stayed within calories. Looking back at the last several weekends I average 2000 calories Saturday and Sunday. My goal for this weekend is no more than 1500 each day. I do not have workouts planned so this will be an extra 600 calories over the weekend. Fingers crossed for the will power!!!

Well I guess that's what happens when you go 1,125 calories over your allotment for the day ... going to make today a better day. Also going to try for a 4 mile walk. Wasn't planned, but I need it. First ... coffee!!!

6/22 - 169.6 - did really well yesterday, 40 min on elliptical and food intake was on point. Expected to see a bigger loss, but I'll take it!
6/23 - 169.6 - No exercise today and pretty sedentary due to work but came in under calories.
6/24 - 168.8 - Stayed close to calories despite a friend's wedding. No "exercise" but ran my tail off getting every thing ready so all in all, I'll call that a win.
6/25 -170 - Darned scale...no exercise but nutritionally on point.

GAME ON!
I need a support system in my life. It's hard to exercise and change the way you eat when you're the only one in a family of 5 that wants to make changes. That makes it even more difficult to stay accountable, and I need that. I hadn't felt right in about 6 months. I was so fatigued and being a teacher, a Mom of 3, and taking care of my niece and nephew so their parents can work, I need all the energy that I can get. Yet, I was falling asleep as early as 6:30, and I felt like I didn't sleep at all when the alarm went off at 6. I started noticing that my left arm started to tingle and become numb. Then, it spread down my left side and all the way down to my toes. My grip waa weaker, and I was struggling to open jars. I finally went to the doctor, and I found out I have a B12 deficiency due to taking medication prescribed from my specialist for GERD. I also discovered that my LDL (bad cholesterol) was better than it has been, but it was still bad, and my HDL (good cholesterol) was too low. It was recommended I lose 7 -10% of my body weight, take 1000 B12 supplement, and exercise 30 minutes a day for a total of 150 minutes a week. So, here I am...trying to improve my health. It isn't an easy thing to do, so I wanted to be a part of something that would keep me motivated and support me along the way. I want to stay on the wagon. I need to. When I started my weight loss journey, I was 202 lbs. This is my first round doing the 10 day challenge. With that being said...

Well, I have been weighing myself everyday and watching this challenge from afar, but I think I'd like to jump in with this round. I have used MFP for over five years (on and off, but mostly "on") and have never posted! Anyway, here it goes!

6/22: 139.8 Off with family to weekend at the beach. (Oops! I guess I won't be able to weigh for a few days!)

6/25: 141.6 Not too surprised-I indulged somewhat and this is the natural outcome. Won't get frustrated, but need to buckle down and get back on track!

6/22 - 134.8 not really sure why, but hopefully tomorrow it will be below my starting weight of 134.4 from the end of Round 7. Got in my 5 mile run this morning as the heat was rising in So. Fl.
6/23 - 133.8 wish I didn't have 1 pound swings. I want to maintain this weight throughout this challenge and end a little lighter. My goal is 1-1.5 pounds per 10 day challenge. Working hard and being mindful. Happy Friday everyone!
6/24 - 134.2 Continue to be mindful. Going to a nutrition lecture this morning. Hoping to gain some insight.
6/25 - 136.2 Does not surprise me. I had a very good full meal at Bonefish Grill last night. Back in the saddle this morning. Finished my 5 mile run and back to mindful eating. We all need a cheat meal every now and then. Happy Sunday all!

I'm gonna try this, again. I gained weight for my 1st Round which was Round 7.
I still believe that I can do this, though. I am going to see what I can do this Round 8 -- my 2nd Round.
I must be honest... I expect it to be higher on the first day of Round 8 (my 2nd round). But, after that... I'm hoping to be down by the end of the 10 days.
Final Goal weight: maybe 98 lbs -- not really sure (sm. boned & petite)
4'11", female, 55 years old
So, my 1st Round (R7) Start Weight: 156.4 lbs. End Weight 159.6 lbs.
2nd Round (R8): Begin Weight: 160.2 2nd Round (R8) Goal Weight: 159.2

6/23 158.2 Wow, it really helps to follow my meal plan... duh. I've already surpassed my goal for this round, but let's see if I can stick it or get down below it.
6/24 156.8 I was pleasantly surprised as I did have a package of M & M peanuts & a sm. pkg of honey roasted peanuts. I hope that I can stick at this or get lower.
6/25 156.8 I stayed under in calories, yesterday, and am happy with being the same weight. I just don't want to go up (at this point).
